We used these to replace an old, worn set on the double gate in our yard. The hinges are really good sized, and heavy duty. I love that this hardware has the black coating. Maybe this will resist rust, etc.? We had no problem installing this, and it looks great. Definitely came with all the pieces necessary for installation. Highly recommend ... show more

I really like the size and quality of these hinges. They are huge compared to most and are really very well made in my opinion. Only time will tell how they hold up but I anticipate it'll be quite a while before I have to worry about them.

I needed this to replace the old hardware on a double gate. All of the described items were in the package, which was great to have everything included. The material that the gate hardware is made of seems to be very durable. I think it will last a long time. The self closing mechanism works well, and I especially love the anchor. The finish on these parts looks good, they were easy to install on my home-made gate, and it was nice to have it all in one well priced package. The latch mechanism is easy to use and the hinges are working nice a smooth so far. Everything was included and worked as expected! The steel they are made from is strong stuff, probably equal to or better than the ones found at the big box stores. All I added was a cable to keep my gate from sagging (which had nothing to do with this kit). ... show more
