For the money, this was good purchase. Instructions were hard to understand. We got it done though! Had a swinging door “into” our bathroom shower doors. We used caps to replace the door knob holes, and converted our standard swinging door to a barn door to solve the problem.

The package arrived on time. It went up ok. The thing to know is have your tools together. My husband kept going back and forth to his shop to get more tools. took longer to put up because he was running back and forth. The instructions tell you what you need tool wise. Our barn door was quite heavy, which is why I selected this hardware. It works well and slides quietly. I did have a handy man install it because our door was quite heavy and it took some work due to our old house isn't totally level, but once installed it looks and works great.

I love this product. It is beautiful once it is installed and it is very sturdy. But stating that it takes 30 minutes with two people to install. It is definitely not the case. My husband and I have built many things and installed many things. We are renovating our house in fact. it took us quite some time to get this installed. In fact, took us two tries of having to install and then reinstall to get it right. The instructions are not the greatest, we had to look a few things up on the Internet that were unclear. The whole item is very solid - the wheels are large and move smoothly, The 1/4 inch thick bar is sturdy, quite heavy thus some help with installation is useful. The only minor issue - lag screws are a bit short for installation in the studs in the wall covered with insulation and stucco. I got longer 3/8" screws. Also, the bolts to attach the door are metric M10 - no problem but if you lose the nice cap nuts you need to find a metric replacement. ... show more
