I’ve been using these Skullcandy Icon ANC headphones daily, and honestly — they deliver way more than I expected. The sound is clean, with punchy bass and clear highs, perfect for music, podcasts, or even calls. The Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) works really well. It blocks out background noise without making you feel completely isolated. Great for staying focused when I’m working or at the gym. The battery life is a beast — I’ve gone several days without charging, and they just keep going. Skullcandy says 60 hours, and I believe it. I’ve been using the Skullcandy Icon ANC Wireless headphones for a some time now, and overall, I’m really pleased with their performance. The active noise cancelling (ANC) is surprisingly effective for this price range—it does a great job of blocking out background noise at home and in public, like fans, traffic, or chatter. The on-ear fit is snug but comfortable, even during longer listening sessions. They’re lightweight and fold flat, so they’re easy to carry in a backpack or bag. I mostly use them for listening to music while crocheting or working, and the Bluetooth connection stays solid with no dropouts. Pairing was fast and hassle-free. Battery life is excellent—I only charge them every few days, even with ANC on. The sound is punchy with decent bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. Great for most music genres and even podcasts. The controls are simple and responsive, and I like having the option to switch ANC on or off depending on my surroundings. The only thing to note is that if you wear glasses or have sensitive ears, the on-ear design might feel a little tight after a few hours—but that’s common with this style of headphone. Excellent mat black with yellowish highlights and shiny black Skullcandy logo. Sounds are vibrant and clear. Volume and media controls are quick and effortless with the adaption of a joystick with internal buttons, you won't have stick drift and all you need is to tilt the stick in one direction a lil. The noise cancelling without audio blocks out almost all noises, and with audio playing, completely blocks out all noise. Stay aware provides clear audio of the outside. Both modes work excellently. I love my Skullcandy’s so much, I prefer them over my AirPods lol! The softness of the over the ear pieces are comfortable + it’s sweat resistant so the fabric isn’t peeling off. It connects very easily to my phone and has an amazing clarity to my music, shows or videos. I love how I can customize the equalizer! It fits in my bag perfect for when I’m on the go or for work. After about 4 years, and officially losing one of my Beats fit pro earbuds- I decided to just venture out and try something new all together. I’ve used Skullcandy earbuds back in my high school days, and they were always one of the best imo (back then, idk about now lol). Now I knew this item in particular wasn’t even going to compare with beats brand, but I wanted something cheaper and decent to have, until I have enough spending money to get better ones. This was my first headphone purchase with them. I decided to go with Skullcandy, since it’s a familiar brand that I’ve trusted. Although, I’ve only had their earbuds, and it’s been years. Sad to say, I am highly disappointed. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS! The product is super overpriced for the performance, and quality of said product. The ANC is a joke! Literally a hair of a difference between awareness mode and ANC. The sound overall is just HORRID! Even with fooling around with the equalizer and trying to customize the sound, it was beyond underwhelming/frustrating. The bass was terrible. I had to turn it damn near all the way down to not get annoyed. The louder you turn it up, the worse it sounds. Listening to music with these was not a pleasant experience. Every minute or few seconds, it sounds static-y. I’ve had grocery store headphones better than these ones. I love skull candy, but this one is a flop. I cannot speak for any of their other models of headphones, but this one is just not even up to par with the cheap ones I’ve had. I wanted to like these so bad, but they just didn’t work for me. I usually will just take the L and make the best of it, but I couldn’t justify that with the price in these. I ended up returning it.
