(A review after 2 months of using) This product came in great condition, packaging was good and no visible tears or damage to outside. I currently use these to go to the gym (although Sony says it is technically not water resistant), they work great. Noise cancellation is wonderful, and works even without having to turn on the headphones. they're very comfortable and pretty light, although when I lay down on the bench to do exercises (like bench press), it falls off. (not sure if its because my head shape, sweat etc.) but I just don't wear them on those days. I wear these when running because AirPods do not stay put in my ears; there is a little bit of pressure when I run, but I ignore it after a while. Battery life is very good for one charge and sound quality is good. overall, this is a great product for being refurbished; although I don't think I would pay full price for it if it was new. ... show more

This was my first ever pair of headphones I got and I have to say, everything about them is awesome. The quality is great, sound is amazing, and sooooooo noise cancelling. I love that you can also change the song and stop it when you need to. Connects instantly as well.

i waited a very long time to make this review because i wanted to see how these headphones would hold up. after using them for 7 months, i can say that these headphones are AMAZING. first off, they are extremely easy to use and connect to your device, and they have a long battery life! there are only two buttons, so it’s easy to use. additionally, they are extremely easy to take with you on the go! i brought these to europe and they were extremely easy to take in and out of my bag during my flights and during my bus rides. additionally, these headphones are AMAZING at canceling out sound. the noise canceling mode is simply unmatched. the fit of the headphones is the only possible con, as i remember the first times i would wear them they did squeeze a little tightly around my head. however, this uncomfortable feeling DID end up going away and i feel these headphones fit extremely comfortably now. My refurbished pair in particular were sold by Lonestar Mobile. Absolutely excellent condition, very very minimal signs of wear. Very comfortable headphones, great sound quality, and out-of-this-world noise cancellation. If you were debating whether to get XM4's, this is your sign to.

I spent a lot of time researching what headphones to purchase. I even went down to the local Best Buy to try them out in person. Great sound and the quality seemed good. I purchased a refurbished WH-1000XM4 for $285 because I never intended to spend $300+ for this luxury item. Once received, the headphones would drop bluetooth connection 15-20x per song. Sony then sent me a brand new unit which was slightly better however still would lose bluetooth connectivity when streaming music. When I complained to Sony the agent told me that since I purchased a refurbished unit and they had already sent me a new unit, there was nothing else that they were willing to do for me and that I would have to pay for a repair of the unit. I sent it to their warranty center, United Radio and was told that this unit needed a new printed circuit board which was no longer available. When I reached out to Sony the just repeated back 6X what they couldn't do. They refuse to acknowledge the fact that this model is defective! Amazon was nice enough to make it right by offering a refund for this fiasco. Never agin Sony, you have just lost a good customer for life and I will NEVER buy Sony again! ... show more
