Description
The Generac GP18000EFI is Generac's highest-wattage portable generator, delivering 18,000 running watts and 22,500 starting watts for whole-home backup power, demanding jobsite operations, and emergency preparedness. When an outage strikes, it provides the capacity to run central air conditioning, well pumps, refrigerators, freezers, lighting, and critical appliances at the same time. Clean power for every device you own. TruePower Technology holds total harmonic distortion below 5%, producing the clean, stable output required to safely operate sensitive electronics — including home office equipment, entertainment systems, and powered medical devices — right alongside heavy-duty loads. This makes the GP18000EFI a reliable power solution for modern households that depend on electronics as much as appliances. An engine built around fuel efficiency. The 816cc G-Force OHVI engine with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) continuously adjusts fuel delivery to match actual load demand. The result is reduced fuel consumption and up to 9 hours of runtime at 50% load from the 14.2-gallon steel tank. An integrated fuel gauge removes guesswork, and an hour meter with maintenance resets helps protect the engine long-term. Always-on CO protection. COsense Technology monitors carbon monoxide levels throughout operation and triggers an automatic shutoff the moment dangerous concentrations are detected. A visual alert activates simultaneously. No manual monitoring is required — protection is built in and always active. The GP18000EFI is compatible with the Generac HomeLink Manual Transfer Switch for whole-home backup capability. The 120/240V 50A receptacle supports RV connections, and all seven outlets are circuit- breaker protected for added safety under load. The push-button electric start requires no manual priming — the battery ships in the box.
