As a former radio DJ and music lover, I am a bit critical of headphones. I base my opinion on my studio headphones that are from my radio days back in the 80's. I have purchased a few other sets but only one was close until now. In the early two thousands I got a set of wired Skullcandy headphones which I use so much the in line volume/bass control broke. So, I got these. I looked at the entire line of Skullcandy headphones and decided this was the set for me. Although they do not have a TF/SD card slot you can pair them very easily with any device like a cell phone, bluetooth MP3 player, tablet or PC. You can also use a patch cable to plug them in. Sound quality-AMAZING! The highs are crisp and clear while the bass is explosive and deep. A slide on the ear piece adjusts the bass from subtle to extreme. You can literally feel the bass. Controls With 3 buttons on one side you control volume, track selection and pairing. Pairing is VERY simple and this set paired with my iPhone 16 in a touch. Bass is controlled by a slide lever under the power button. It is very sensitive in increasing or decreasing bass volume setting. Bluetooth Excellent, no problems at all. No loss of sound, sound quality perfect, no buffing. Charging and battery Charges pretty fast. One charge lasts me for 10+ hours. Wired connection One thing I truly like about these is that when you plug them in you still use the bass and volume functions unlike many others. I plug them into my Pyle amp and they sound awesome. Comfort The ear cushions are not stiff like others. They are very soft so can you wear them for hours. Overall fit is not too tight but not at all loose either. They stay in place very well and the comfort level does no diminish. Price I got them on sale for just under $100. Yes, they are a little pricey, but they are well worth it. First pair of SkullCandy headphones in probably about 10-12 years. Decided to give them a shot. Sound quality is pretty good for the price point, but the real draw to these is the bass boost knob/slider on the left side. Without it turned up, the sound is pretty normal “headphone” sound. But turn up the bass boost? The only comparison I can think of is it sounds like having subs in the car, vibration and all. It is absolutely amazing and everyone that Ive had try these has loved them. The bass gets loud, but around you doesnt. These seal very well, and dont have any sound leak/bleed, which is a huge plus since I cant hear well and my better half likes silence when she reads. Another note, these do not have any ANC, but the seal and the bass boost makes it unnecessary. Comfort wise, these are pretty comfy. Ear cups are a nice plus memory foam type material, but more on the plush side of things rather than the firmer side that I’ve found in many other over-ear headphones. All in all, would definitely say if you like bass and comfort, these are well worth it. Would definitely recommend for anyone who likes to just sit and enjoy some music to decompress at the end of the day, or if you like some music to keep you hyped up while working or cleaning. ... show more

I am a big basshead and love love love music. My car, my home set up, my gaming office, at the gym, at work etc. Bought 3 different pairs of headphones and i always read reviews and take them seriously when it comes to the quality of devices. These are by far the absolute BEST headphones I’ve owned since the beats came out. And honestly they are better than any of the leading brands. The bass is AMAZING. It sounds like you have subwoofers on your ears i kid you not they can vibrate off your ears 🤣. Sound is clear and crisp. You can adjust the bass how you like. Easy to connect to Bluetooth. Battery life is amazing. Battery life is amazing I haven’t had to charge them at all since I bought them Most importantly they are comfortable as hell. Overall functionality is good. Over ear headphones have always been a problem for me if wearing them any longer than an hour. These though have been great. I’ve been able to wear them up to 4 hours with no pain/pressure on my ears. I’ve only charged them once and still have plenty of charge left. The bass boost is almost too much so I leave that setting at about half way. It’s a slider control on the left ear. Easy to tune and I don’t accidentally hit it. Voice calls have been great on my Mac. The mic picks up my voice loud and clear according to people I’ve run through some tests. Recently traveled and the noise cancellation was good enough. No voice calls, so nothing to report there. Bluetooth pairing was super easy and I’ve had no issues switching between devices. Not as smooth as AirPods but being adjacent to the Apple ecosystem, I’ll take the little extra to switch and have the comfort I get from these any day. The “case” they come with is just a bag. I will be looking for a case of some sort. I travel a lot and want more protection. ... show more
