I'd bought two sets of seven tier pairs of SKL "Kate" curtains (from K-Mart, sold under their own house brand) in the 36-inch length for my bedroom, some years ago (each set covering two windows with seven panels each), covering the tops of my rather large windows with a valence left over from a previous set of curtains. This month, I switched to the second set of tier panels. The old valences were getting a bit old, and the SKL "Kate" valences seemed a bit feminine for my taste. In the pictures, it appeared that the SKL "Kate" and "Marissa" lines use the same accent colors, and would go well together; my experience shows that this is indeed the case. I ended up using three "Marissa" valence panels over 7 "Kate" tier panels, on each of my two bedroom windows, and they go together quite well. Note that these do not come out of the dryer wrinkle-free; they do require some attention with either an iron or a steamer. That is really their only shortcoming. ... show more
