Works great! Near total blackout. Bought these because my windows are across from my TV, and the reflection in dark scenes was terrible. Didn't have huge hopes because the color was so light (Natural shade), but they are awesome! Reflections gone. I used to have "room darkening" curtains, which I didn't know were a joke until getting these. In the picture in my review, you can see the old curtain on the right and these on the left. Awesome! The color of these is lighter than it appears but because the room is so dark now it looks darker in the picture. The material is also quite nice, it's soft and "flowy." it looks clean and neat. There aren't any care directions, so not sure what cleaning will look like, but at worst a hand wash wouldn't be terrible. The length is spot on and the width is just right for my application (single pane.) Recommended!

We have lived in our home for 30 years and I have never put a curtain on the back door window. It's been in the high 90's the last two weeks and you could feel the heat coming in, so I wanted to do something about that window. My husband ended up hanging a scarf I had in the closet using 2 suction hooks. It worked fine but didn't look the best. I decided to start looking to see if I could find a thin tension curtain rod that would fit there and once I did, I started looking for blackout curtains. These were one of the first that came up. They had decent reviews, so I decided to try them. I ordered the 2-piece 29" Wide by 40" Long. I wasn't sure if I would need both panels or just one panel to fit the window - I ended up only needing one. As you can see from the picture, there are a few wrinkles but not bad at all. I will use my hand steamer to get the few that are there. The soft and heavy-duty blackout fabric is woven with a three-layer construction. The middle layer of black yarns creates a curtain panel that is excellent for blocking out 85%-99% of light. The curtains are not heavy, and the size is perfect. They are made out of 100% Polyester. It says to machine or hand wash with mild detergent. I have a handwash cycle on my washing machine. I couldn't be happier with these curtains - they are beautiful and so soft.

I was truly amazed when these curtains arrived! The quality is top notch. Color is a true navy and easy to install. I bought the set and placed one panel on each window. I placed a white sheer curtain underneath on a separate tension rod so I can slide the curtain to one side and back again. The back bedroom really gets afternoon sun. I placed them up about 15 minutes ago and can already feel the difference! The hot GA sun was running my power bill up! These curtains should help! Excellent product!

We just got these for our RV Class A front windshield curtains. The good: -Light blocking is very good -Thermal properties seem good so far but we have not had terribly hot days yet. -Lightweight so they slide on the rail easily. -Soft fabric is nice to the touch. -Price is good. The not so good: - The valence is a nice visual touch but they were not sewn straight. You can see in my picture that the left side is ~1/2inch higher than the right side of one. Each of the 6 panels (3sets) had different length valence so I had to mix and match to make them line up as straight as possible.

Just as the description depicted the curtains , very good quality ad well . I purchased them to hang over two large side by side windows . Worked very well, blocked the hot morning sun and darkened to approx 80-85 % .

Great curtains for bedroom. They black out the daylight and look pretty as well. I am happy with these and will eventually add them to my whole house. Much better than blinds to look at and functionality as well. I highly recommend these.

These do what they are supposed to do...keep the light(and the heat) out. I am from the Northeast, and having lived in the South for 4 years I don't know why I haven't purchased these until now. They help keep the room comfortable. They arrived with wrinkles from being folded in the packages, but 10 minutes in the dryer took care of that. Very happy with these for the price.
