This works perfect for my use. The only downside is unholstering/taking a light out of this holder. It’s somewhat hard to take a flash light out by pulling, I find it easiest to push from below..

Brought this for D-cell flashlight as advertised for my Son, When received, looks Nice but this holster will not fit any of the D cell flashlights without needing to force it in but fits a C-cell flashlight nice and snug.

Definitely worth buying. The only issue is that the belt loop is to big and it moves around too much. My solution: get Black Zip Ties. They are your best friend for holding anything in place on your belt. You can literally buy them here on Amazon for $7 for 100 of them.

As you can see by the photo, it wouldn't even be possible to force a D-size battery alone into this flashlight holder without damaging it, so you can just forget about getting your D-size flashlight to fit into it either, since it is even a larger diameter than your batteries! The inside measurements of the loop shown by the seller are completely in error! I am very disappointed by the lack of accuracy in the product's description, and this item is promptly being sent back to Amazon! ... show more
