The additional tulle curtain on top is a nice detail. I love them. They do an alright job at blocking light but the white background doesn’t do as good as a darker one. For a girls room these are perfectly cute! If your child needs blackout curtains you’ll need to install a traditional set underneath these to get full coverage. Nice blackout curtains star cut outs, so cute with the sheer curtain layer trimmed in lace. Decent weight and yeah they work well. Nice ties and bows also came with them. I bought 2 curtains. Perfect for what I had in mind.

At first I didn't realize the "stars" weren't glitter and just figured the ad was "enhanced" but I was pleased when the stars are actually cut out that let the light in!!!
