Ok I own Milwaukee Fuel and Dewalt XR. For a cordless blower they both are very expensive.. even though I had their batteries just for the bare tool! This you get A 40V 2.5 Amp hour battery and the fast charger ( which costs $130 on Amazon alone) plus the Brishless 49 amp blower all for $119! That is a crazy good deal. This thing has a ton of power it blew out the entire garage in 25 seconds. The quality is actually great as well as the design. Also you can by a stub tapered cone for drying cars for $10! It’s a real Skilled one not some third party 3D printed thing.. this is easily the best deal for a cordless lead blower. I love Milwaukee fuel and Dewalt XR/Flex volt but this is extremely well designed and manufactured for a fraction of the price. There is a YouTube video comparing all the cordless blowers and this one tested very well compared to the expensive ones. It has tons of power only con is battery life. You will be lucky to get 10 minutes on full blast but it’s 40V power and the charger can charge a half full battery to full in under 15 minutes. 30 minutes for dead to fully charged. If you absolutely needed more you could get another battery. For most people this is all you need. If you need it professionally and you already have Milwaukee, dewalt, Ryobi, with a Bunch of spare batteries maybe go with that but if you just need it for yard work and homeowner type stuff this is perfect. ... show more

I always had gas powered leaf blowers. So I didn't know if I would ever find a battery powered one that I would like. I had bought and returned the first two battery powered leaf blowers I purchased and then I got the Skil Leaf Blower and I liked it right away. Powerful and easy to use BUT the battery is always running out before the job is done. I would recommend getting a 2nd battery for it and they are not cheap. I do like not having to mix gas and oil together to run a blower but I can get the job done and more with my old gas blower. ... show more

What a great purchase! Always left the leaf/lawn blowing up to my husband because the gas powered are too heavy. This is so easy to use & lightweight. No problem charging & the battery power is good as long as you don’t leave it on the high setting very long. No problem blowing gas clippings or leaves on the lower setting. ... show more

    • Blows like a Nor'easter, but not for very long
It is a great blower, reasonable lightweight and very powerful. That said, the battery lasts about 15 minuets. We picked up a second battery for more than the cost of the blower from a different vendor. Both batteries, Skill Pwrcore 40 2.5 Ah, last the same length after half a dozen charges and uses. Without using the "turbo/boost" option. Just straight run wide open on the trigger. The next size up battery would be pretty heft weight wise. It gets solid marks by the big review company and for the money it is a good buy. Unless you want one that runs longer. It will almost run long enough to blow off the roof and gutters; almost long enough to do the driveway and decks. It is a great buy if you can get the job done in 10 minuets.
