So Ice-Cold, They're Red-Hot...

Admittedly, I am NOT a competitive skier OR an avid outdoorsman who loves arctic conditions (hey, most melanated peeps ain’t, yanno). But Chicago at times feels like it comes mighty close to conditions akin to those. I could care less if a set of gloves that's intended to keep my hands warm has touchscreen capability in the fingers; my phone is more likely to be in my pocket or my car than in my hands in weather like that. But I do care a great deal if they keep my hands warm. and because they do, I'm happy with 'em. I was kinda puzzled at first when I pulled out a small card from the zippered compartment on one of them; this ain't gonna apply to me at all...but I filled it out anyway. Maybe I'll get snowed in and it'll help rescuers find and identify me, who knows? BUT, these folks thought of everything. I love the aesthetics; if fits the whole monochromatic look I sport...they stand up to high winds (which are whippin' 'round out there today)...and while I'm sure they're waterproof, I'm not gonna test that. They make the grade with me - and, as I said, I'm not within the intended demographic for this item by a LONG shot... (lol)

Warm enough for 30° but not for anything lower

It's warm gloves but not for anything lower than 30°. I used them for Utah ski trip, it was handy, pretty easy to take off and on with my wool gloves I had on already. I had to double up because it was 10° to 20° with some wind chills. Fleece lining is a nice touch, its soft inside. Leather is good so far, no ripping, stitching is well done. Waterproof outside, sweat makes the inside a little wet, even with wool gloves. I use my hairdryer and it dries the inside well. The fleece stays soft. There is some wiggle room for your fingers if you like to have that space. Nice little pockets on both sides. The hook/clips to keep the gloves together is too small, and flimsy, I have already lost those things. I gota find a double clip so I can attach them together when not in use. I'd probably get some warmers gloves next time. But overall design of these are great!

Excellent winter gloves!

Full disclosure, this review was written by my wife (you'll see why later). Fantastic gloves for shoveling and snow play! These are fully insulated with a soft fleece lining. They are also wind proof and water repellent, necessary for extended periods outside in the winter. Extremely happy with the strap and additional toggle to tighten around your wrist to block frigid winds. The zipper pocket on top is interesting. I assume you could tuck a hand warmer in there. The pocket runs the length of the zipper to the base of your fingers. The large fit quite small. My husband originally ordered these, but instead they fit me who would typically get a small. Additionally, these work really well with touch screens/phones.

Definitely feels like gloves. Touch screen compatible although a little goofy. Little zipper pocket on the back for heater packets or cards. I like them, durability could be a concern though. Great price for what you get.

Great Versitile Gloves

These gloves arrived just in time! They kept my hands warm. They fit perfectly. I was able to change the channels on my stereo with out taking off my gloves. The touch screen finger is awesome. Even though we did get 12 inches of snow my hands were toasty warm.

Not meant for snowboarding or skiing

I went snowboarding yesterday and the gloves held up for 2 hrs. The stitching was the first thing to go, then the straps ripped off. These gloves were super comfortable but made cheap. Not meant for snowboarding because they will rip right away however they’re super super warm and would be great for shoveling snow or like casual wearing during the winter. Wouldn’t buy again for snowboarding.

The fit is comfortable without feeling bulky, so it’s easy to grip ski poles or adjust gear. I was also pleasantly surprised by the touchscreen compatibility — I could use my phone without taking the gloves off, which is very convenient in cold conditions.
