I purchased these for my son 15 wide. He ha uses them for work. Shoes have been worn to death for two years switching between two pairs of skechers the other pair being low tops. I just purchased another pair for him after seeing the poor shape of a well worn and loved boot. Good choice.

I've recently had a traumatic brain injury that happened to take out my right foot, so I needed to get something with decent ankle support and fast. I have very wide feet, which makes brick-and-mortar shopping a hassle. The price was right, and Sketchewrs is a name brand, so I gambled on ordering online and the shoes came in quickly, and actually fit perfectly. Extremely comfortable boot, a complete shame that the lace holder on top snapped off of left boot, and the other is on its way off as well. This was shown in the pics.

Solidly built and comfortable to wear. On deciding whether to purchase the app informed me that I should increase the size of shoe for my foot size. I wanted a wide area for my toes without binding. I followed the app’s suggestion regarding size and it was a great call

I've tried wearing a lot of different hiking boots and inevitably they either don't fit well, not waterproof or wear out quickly. These Sketchers are well made, comfortable and fit as expected. Price point is comparable to other similar brands, but these outdo the competition! Sketchers are definitely on my boot list. Highly recommend ... show more

    • So Glad I Bought These
I'm old, have bone spurs and need special inserts for my shoes. I can only comfortably were one brand of sneakers. We are traveling to Iceland soon and I needed some hiking shoes. This is an important purchase for me and I needed to get it correct. I liked the X Wide size and ordered a pair. I removed the inserts and installed my Rx inserts. Instant comfort, I knew they would work. I saw a comment about the tongue being too thick, perhaps, at first it is but I think it will compress easily. Another comment about the lace length mentioned they were too short, they are too short. It's hard to pull on them with old arthritic hands, I ordered a longer pair but Skechers should provide longer laces so they can be double knotted. It's a great heavy duty shoe well built and comfortable with laces that are not up to the product standard. They weigh about 23 ounces, only 7 ounces heavier than my standard New Balance sneakers.
