Was surprised when my size was available. So I took a chance and purchased it. Delivery was on time. Quality of material and construction looks great. the fit was perfect, comfortable. Only thing is the sole is not as sure grip as advertised. Recently after a light rain, certain roads were wet and boots were not as sure footed as expected. I ride my Harley with it so its import that the boots provide good grip. But I managed. I was thinking of buying another pair but now I'm not sure. ... show more

These are great looking shoes, which I still get compliments on; however, inside - not so great. Seems like the insole has a type of memory foam that imprints on the first thing it touches and will not adjust. This is an everyday wear for me and the boots are developing hot spots in some unusual places. It's hard to describe, but this isn't the Skechers comfort to which I'm accustomed. ... show more

I work in the fabrication industry where we use welders and cutting torches in hot weather during the summer months. I have spent $250 on some nice boots, but at the end of the day, they were way too hot. Only lasted 1 year and had a long break-in time. These are light weight, breathable, look clean with easy pull to tighten laces. If they get me 3 months, I’m kind of on par for the more expensive boots with them having no break in period and look good. If they go for 6, I’m beyond happy. ... show more

    • Durable consistent light weight boot

I purchased this same item two years ago, and I wear them for work in a non-industrial light impact environment. My first impression of the first pair, was they seemed stiff, and I thought the soles would split. The finish is matt black. Two years later, the soles did not split, the finish was still fairly good, not having done anything but wipe them off occasionally, and the shoe strings did not break. What did break, that made me replace them, was some of the metal eyes fell out of the right shoe, and the leather ripped. I decided the positives were more than the negatives and replaced them with the same Amazon product ID. The new pair looks exactly the same, except the soles, still very firm, are a little softer walking, and the shoe strings are longer and made of a softer material. Time will tell...
