Great comfort and holds up well
As a vet tech at a hospital I spend a lot of time on my feet running back and forth. I had a different pair of shoes initially and while they did their job for the most part, by the end of the day sometimes sooner it would kill my feet and would be going home sore every time. Not these After switching over to these shoes I felt immediate relief and it even fit my insole that I had before. Taking them off and putting on with absolute ease, easy to clean, hasn't torn or anything yet and its been a couple of months. Only thing I could say negative is that on wet surfaces you probably might slip a bit and can make it where it makes those sticky walk sounds but ultimately satisfied. I use these even outside of work now and would buy again

Great shoes. Well worth the price.

This is the third pair I have purchased. I run a kitchen and wear these everyday I work. I bought one pair and wore them over a year and then purchased another pair. I made the first ones my work around the yard shoes. My plan was to do the same once I received the new ones. I now have three pair because the first ones won't wear out! They are a wider shoe so my feet don't feel squished. My feet and calves feel much better at the end of the day. The shoes are pretty nonslip. The only time I have worried about slipping was on glare ice. They aren't the warmest shoe to wear outside in the winter, but they are nice when working in a hot kitchen. They clean easily. I have dumped spaghetti sauce and other things on them and they cleaned right up. They feel comfortable and have good support. I usually add an insert after 6 or 7 months of wear. They slip on and off quite easily. It is nice not having to worry about tying shoelaces while working, or any time. They go with anything, dress, casual, even shorts. I really can't say enough good about these shoes. I am so pleased with them that I have been tempted to buy several pair and just put them in the back of the closet. I would hate to come to purchase a pair and find that they have been discontinued.

Room for Improvement

Here's my initial review after 4 days and 10 miles. I am a 6' 7" 245lb man who works a food service job currently and I figured hey, why not, I'll roll the dice, these shoes look sharp, they're in my hard to find size, and I'm sure they'll hold up to water splashing over my feet with sink work, which they do quite well. Whatever water isn't deflected is wicked, or so it seems. The shoes look sharp in either a casual or professional setting, though I take issue with the build quality. On day two , the insoles already began to crumble. You will need to replace these immediately, and I would recommend investing in a higher quality insole. Memory foam insoles feel like you're walking through sand. The outer shell seems of decent quality, it's done right. The soles, however, feel almost hollow, and feels as if they could be pierced easily if not utilized in the intended food service environment, being clean, hard floors. Kudos on the anti-slip, that works. The bungee "laces" lack a toggle to tighten the shoe, and is sewn into a single fabric eyelet. This is easily overcome with a seam ripper, a pair of scissors and another quality of life improving purchase of a bungee lace kit with toggles and clasps. Other than these drawbacks, and putting in a little more work in, I feel like I could comfortably ride these shoes for at least a year. Remember, work shoes are use items, and will require replacement eventually. So, to recap Pros - Professional Look Slip On Design which is novel Water Resistant Anti Slip Fits Like a Glove - in more than one way Ok, but not excellent price point for what you get Cons- Bungee laces come as is, and can't be tightened properly, due to lack of hardware, and because it's sewn in Insoles that they're shipped with are not prime time ready Narrow use case outside professional environment Built like something you replace once a year to a year and a half, which is fine, but know what you're getting. Overall view - Consider my score a 3.5 out of 5. After a little bit of mild work, these shoes could be your daily driver, for as long as they last.

Surprise in the Snow

I purchased this shoe as well as a pair of the Skecher Afterburn M tennis shoes. I wanted a dedicated work shoe, because I was going though my shoes pretty quickly from wearing the same pair all the time. So, being that I had already had two previous pairs of the “Afterburn” shoe, and burned through each of them in just over a year respectively, I decided to get another pair of them and also get a pair of the Cessnock Food Service Shoe strictly for work. Both pairs of shoes arrived yesterday, and today I wore the Food Service shoe (FSS) to work for the first time. I slipped them on and found them to be a perfect fit. They are very light weight and comfortable. Usually, I find new shoes need a few days of wear to break-in until they really conform to the shape of your foot and then begin to fit well, but that wasn’t the case with these FSS shoes; they fit perfectly the moment I put them on. I wore them all day at work and discovered something that really surprised me. We had a snowstorm today and got about 2” by the time I got to work, and had a good 7” by the end of my shift. I park outside so of course I have to brush the snow off the car. After doing so I knocked the snow off my shoes before getting into the car. I was surprised to see that the snow didn’t stick to the material on top of the shoes, it was as if there was a water repellant in/on the material. I was sort of wondering why my feet weren’t getting cold while I was cleaning off my car and I guess that explains it. Another surprise was the fact that these shoes make no sound when walking on a tile floor while having wet soles. The “Afterburn” tennis shoes squeak like a rusty hinge when the bottom of the shoe is wet and you walk across tile or other such surfaces, but the FSS’s, are quiet as a mouse, not a sound comes from them, you could almost call them Ninja shoes. As for the style, well that’s a personal preference and these shoes suit me just fine. I think they look sharp, and nobody even noticed I had a new pair of shoes on today. Durability is the unanswered question and being that I’ve only worn them one day, that question will remain unanswered for a while. If I can get a solid two years out of them, just wearing them to work, I will definitely buy them again and certainly would recommend them to a friend. I hope this review helps with your decision. These shoes have been extremely helpful at work. I would fall down all the time at my job because the water near the dishwashing station was always so slick. With these, I can walk right through the water with no problem even at a faster pace and they grip as if the floor is dry. They are very comfortable to wear for my 8 hour shift and I like how they are light and mesh like, so my feet aren't scrunched up as I work. The memory foam pad sole helps my feet not hurt as much. Worth the price.

Very Resiliant to Wear Except Insole

These shoes last for a long time and show little wear after years. The rubber sole is very grippy and lasts a long time before ever showing any wear. The upper is quite durable and doesnt fade even after being washed. The exception is the insole. The fabric starts coming loose around the heel area almost immediately. Being a woven upper, they are far from water resistant. I was so impressed with my first pair's resilience that I bought another pair. Unfortunately the second pair wasn't quite as good. They seem a half a size bigger. They have slightly lumpy soles. I thought they would break in with time, but they have not. The midsole material also seems firmer and has less arch support. Again the insole started peeling on the first day. I was outside of my return period by the time I realised they weren't quite right. That being said, I still like them enough to order another pair and make sure to check them over next time. That and add some insoles for comfort.
