The last pair of kitchen shoes I bought in a pinch. I bought them at Wal-Mart and the shoes were by treadsafe. They were so uncomfortable and heavy. They we're wearing out bad so I found these sketchers and decided to buy them with my prime membership and same day delivery. They came the same day and I put them on in my pajamas when I got home and am still wearing them lol. That is what you see in the photo. They could be slippers too. I love them hands down the highest upgrade in every manner compared to my old shoes. Thank you Amazon and Sketchers!

It's never slippery. When I first saw the advertisement or review, I was anxious because there was a lot of distinction between slippery and non-slippery, but a few days after purchasing, oil spilled all over the kitchen in the morning where I work. It was then that I truly discovered the power of these shoes. A lot of my colleagues had a hard time because it was slippery, but I was the only one who didn't find it slippery at all. Since then, I have been regularly brushing the soles of my shoes to keep them from being slippery.

I don't know how Skeechers did it but these shoes are plenty wide, especially in the toe box, but they look like regular size shoes. They don't have the ortho (which rhymes with awful) look that some wide shoes have. In other words, they don't look like a doctor prescribed them for you. I'd be very surprised if someone could tell they are wide fit just from looking at them. And despite being very comfortably wide, they do not feel loose. They aren't slipping off and your fit aren't moving around or getting blisters. Don't be fooled by the "culinary" label. I use these shoes for exercising, running errands, and sometimes I even go to work with them when the dress code is relaxed.

I bought these shoes because I am a chef and am on my feet for ten to twelve hours a day at work. I have had the shoes for a year now and I am very happy! They are non slip for sure and very durable. Not waterproof though. Either way they are great for working in a kitchen! They have held up well for getting wet, having food spilled on them and being worn for long shifts five days a week for over a year. Very comfortable and supportive as well. They have plenty of cushion for the bottom of your feet. Overall they are a great shoe for someone that is on their feet a lot!

Here's my initial review after 4 days and 10 miles. I am a 6' 7" 245lb man who works a food service job currently and I figured hey, why not, I'll roll the dice, these shoes look sharp, they're in my hard to find size, and I'm sure they'll hold up to water splashing over my feet with sink work, which they do quite well. Whatever water isn't deflected is wicked, or so it seems. The shoes look sharp in either a casual or professional setting, though I take issue with the build quality. On day two , the insoles already began to crumble. You will need to replace these immediately, and I would recommend investing in a higher quality insole. Memory foam insoles feel like you're walking through sand. The outer shell seems of decent quality, it's done right. The soles, however, feel almost hollow, and feels as if they could be pierced easily if not utilized in the intended food service environment, being clean, hard floors. Kudos on the anti-slip, that works. The bungee "laces" lack a toggle to tighten the shoe, and is sewn into a single fabric eyelet. This is easily overcome with a seam ripper, a pair of scissors and another quality of life improving purchase of a bungee lace kit with toggles and clasps. Other than these drawbacks, and putting in a little more work in, I feel like I could comfortably ride these shoes for at least a year. Remember, work shoes are use items, and will require replacement eventually. So, to recap Pros - Professional Look Slip On Design which is novel Water Resistant Anti Slip Fits Like a Glove - in more than one way Ok, but not excellent price point for what you get Cons- Bungee laces come as is, and can't be tightened properly, due to lack of hardware, and because it's sewn in Insoles that they're shipped with are not prime time ready Narrow use case outside professional environment Built like something you replace once a year to a year and a half, which is fine, but know what you're getting. Overall view - Consider my score a 3.5 out of 5. After a little bit of mild work, these shoes could be your daily driver, for as long as they last.

I’ve been buying these shoes for the past two years and I’ve never considered switching to a different type. They are so comfortable and easy to slip on and off. However my last pair I bought was the same size 12 I’ve gotten the past two times but for some reason my toes are crammed in the front which is very uncomfortable. They usually don’t need to be broken in so I figured that I’d give it a couple weeks to loosen up but a month later there’s still no change. I doubt my feet got bigger but idk what else it could be. Despite this I love these shoes so much I just went a head and bought another pair, this time size 12 wide. Hopefully the wide variant will do they trick!

I'm on my feet for 12 hours at a clip sometimes, serving at a restaurant. I've had these for a month now, and Have no complaints. I picked them up for $45 and consider that a steal. They are comfortable, fit well, and are true to their non-slip claims. The only thing I notices is that the fabric atop the foam instead is starting to wear, but that's to be expected, and it's why the inserts are replaceable. Highly recommend as a budget-friendly workhorse shoe. Time will tell how they holy up, but for now, they do their job and I cant complain.

They are light in weight, slip on easily, and are comfortable. They do not slip. They look sharp. I have bought them twice for my father. I also purchased the women's style for my mother and also a pair for a friend. They machine wash, too.
