I work on computer but have to go out into the shop alot. Of all the steel toe shoes ive ever tried, these have been the most comfortable; *almost like wearing regular running shoes. Alot of reviews of these shoes complain that they dont have the best grip. This is true. In fact of all the other steel toe shoes ive worn over the years, only one brand had worse grip than the skechers (it was caterpillar; idk if they even make any more). Its not terrible but if youre walking around anything like hydraulic fluid or youre outside on asphalt, then its actually dangerously slippery. THis is my only complaint about these shoes. For me though they're perfect. These seem to wear out kindof quickly. Granted i wear them everywhere basically. The pads inside wear through; the spot on the back of the heel inside the shoe; the bottoms. And *some pairs start squeaking and come apart more quickly than others. Other steel toe brands that ive had were way less comfortable but they all did last alot longer than these. ... show more

I used my my military steel toes in the factory and they were just too rough on my dogs. Blisters on my heels the size of quarters. I picked up these bad boys and the difference was night and day. It’s just like wearing normal tennis shoes, they meet work requirements and the sores on my heels are rapidly healing. My feet/back feel much better at the end of the day! ... show more

I have had 2 pairs of these they are comfortable but the dont last the sole was coming loose they were falling apart in less than a year

I've worked 12 hour shifts on concrete for 23+ years. Sketchers have proven to be the best choice for most of my shoes. I am allowed two pairs a year with a payback of $85 each time I've tried many different styles in the price range of $40 - $100. Never disappointed........
