This shoes are terrible. Yes might be comfertable for a while but only a few months in to having them and the insouls are completely worn out and the soul of the shoe is completely falling off.

    • Husband loves them! But only 6 months of use

I bought these for my husband and he LOVES them! He did say they were a little bulky at first, but I reminded him they aren't actually a sneaker and he agreed they aren't bulkier than any other work boot he's owned. Working in a warehouse for 12 hours a day, he needed something comfortable and durable and these do the trick. The memory form is incredible he says. He has only had them for about 2-3 weeks but he is very happy with them so far (no more coming home and having sore feet!). Since he has to unload trucks outside, he also needed water proof and has not complained about his feet getting wet yet. Great work shoe! Will be buying again for sure when these wear down. **update - it is now November 2016 (6 months) and these things are destroyed. They have worn through the soles on the inside of the shoe,both heel and toe. And the stitching has come undone in the toe. ... show more

    • Here's to hoping they're better than my red wings for comfort

The feel is awesome compared to my red wing boots. They are much lighter and the soles seem to have more cushion. I stand for long periods of time on concrete and my knees and feet hurt real bad so I am trying these sneaker style steel toed shoes out based on another machine techs suggestion. I did notice they are very slick at first and will see how they become after a little tread wear. They fit nice and are cooler then my boots. I've worn then for about a week now and they are encouraging. For the price of the red wings I can buy 4 pair of these and if they last 6 months each it will be better then my boots. I will continue to update as time goes by or if there is any major issue with them. Week 2 and the memory foam is breaking down. I am starting to feel fatigued in my legs again. They would be better off if they didn't put that memory foam in and allowed more room to insert insoles. This is still not enough to discourage me from these shoes, but I will be looking into inserts from them. As for them being slippery, it just takes a day or so to scratch the newness off the soles. ... show more

WASTE OF MONEY!!! I have had these shoes for just at 90 days. After around day 30 the memory foam insert had fallen apart so bad there were holes clear through and painful to walk on so I then spent another 20.00 on gel inserts. Now the plastic cuff has come out of the lining and scrapes my achilles. After the inserts and the price of the shoe I have spent almost 100.00 for them to be worthless to me after only a few months. Do yourselves a favor and go buy some redwings that will last year's. ... show more

I'd love to give these shoes 5 stars because they have by far been the ost comfortable steel toe boots for my husband but the problem is, they don't last! One month into recieving them, the top stitching started coming apart but because of comfort... we thought we'd give them a shot. 5 months later and the soles are coming off and the stitching up top is shot too. We'd LOVE to give them another try but at $60 for less than 6 monthes, that's a risk we're not so sure about taking. Is there any kind of Skecher warranty i wonder? I (the wife) run in Skecher shoes and they're fantastic... i know they're about comfort and my quality on tennis shoes has been great. These are soooo comfortable. Had another Sketchers pair called constructor 2 that lasted 3 years(see pics). Those are $80. these are 34.99 and every bit as comfortable. The toe area is big and roomy. Softest gel insole i ever walked on. They are not light Only issue is they make some noise walking indoors due to the aggressive tread. I have a desk job but daily go to shop for QC on welded structures and these feel 100% safe to climb or step on machines. ... show more

These steel toes shoes are amazing. I wear them to my second job for 8 hours a day standing/walking on concrete in a warehouse no problem. This is after I have already been standing/ walking at my first warehouse job for 8-10 hours. I’m on my feet about 16-18 hours a day and there’s no way in hell I would of been able to get through the work week if it wasn’t for these comfortable shoes .I always suffer from fet pain and calluses and my left foot is wider then my right foot, so I always have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable let alone a good fit. But ever since I started wearing New Balance shoes and these Sketchers steel toes I feel like I can stand for 24 hours no problem. Thanks to Amazon too for being so nice about returns, I ordered these in 9 and 9.5 to test the sizing. The sizing fits as expected I wear size 9 normally and the 9 fit perfectly. ... show more

These shoes have always been awesome my last pair last me for 4 years all you got to do is change out the souls inside they're soft and yes do not wear them in a slippery place but in rugged concrete Warehouse yes they are awesome I bought a new pair the other one's finally were given out on the corner just slightly. I hear a lot of people say that the shoes last them for a month these are not let me say this again these are not weather type shoes you have to get special shoes that's durable for outside whether these are made for inside Warehouse/ Factory place and they are not ment to kick things around either. I'm buying another pair or two so when they discontinue these I don't have to worry about finding the shoes. I hope you guys find the right shoes, but in the meantime I'm going to keep wearing the soft shoes. ... show more
