I needed this to keep stray cats from having newborn babies under the thin area between the foundation and floor level of our house. Because the ground is filled with plants, rocks and in other areas, charcoal, I decided not to dig a hole for each insert. I wanted the fence part at ground level, so I used the twist ties to chain together five pieces, put the posts on just the first and last fence pieces. Dug holes where the posts would be and pushed them into the ground. It blocks entrance and looks nice around the bottom of the house. I just ordered another set to complete the project.

Nice panels, attractive and not flimsy. Eady to assemble. Unfortunately, the fasteners were not the S-type pictured here, but a set of black twist ties (like those you would find closing a bag of bread). My set had clearly been opened and repackaged, so maybe the original fasteners were lost along the way. I returned it.

It was very tedious to get these all to go in straight, and even after multiple adjustments a few are still leaning a bit. The "connectors" they give you suck, so I bought 4 inch black zip ties to have enough to work with. Yes, you cut most of the end off once tightened, but it looks pretty cohesive once it's all together. Don't be too rough on it when putting together or installing, though it is a lot better than others I've tried.

Mesh metal part of the fence is very nice. But, like many other posters have said, the legs do not screw in tightly which is disappointing. I decided to keep the panels anyway and deal with any issues with things I find in my garage. update: After placing these panels in my garden (not a veggie garden) I lowered a star. Although the mesh looks nice it's not very sturdy. They bend easily if you use too much pressure when placing them in the ground (especially if the ground is tough).

I bought this to go around a yard drain that continually gets blocked up by mulch during rainstorms. The legs screwed together easily, but you do need to keep screwing until the ends meet. I thought about adding some glue. We inserted them in the ground, using a screwdriver to create a hole first. The twist ties were used at top to hold two sections together. Tonight is the test as we expect heavy rains. If it works, I may buy another set for the other side of drain. Looks nice!!!!!
