There is NO mounting hardware included with this product! This isn't a mistake. I called Skar and they told me that they don't supply screws, flat nuts or wiring/connectors with their car speakers. This isn't the end of the world. But just plan on having to make a trip to Ace Hardware and spend and extra $10 getting the hardware that's needed to install these... ... show more

I replaced a pair of door speakers in my 1996 Dodge Dakota. They sound really good. My two issues are small installation issues if addressed would make installing these speakers a snap 1. the mounting slotted screw holes aren't quite long enough, so aligning the existing door screw hole with the speaker screw hole took a little effort, but you can force it to make it mount into the existing holes . They could have easily added a 1/16 of an inch to the screw slot on the speaker to make the installation easier. 2. When replacing factory speakers you must cut off the factory socket leaving bare wire. They didn't include a little piece of wire for each speaker terminal with the appropriate clip. I had to go buy some and create the wire extensions, which is just a hassle. It would have cost them 5 cents to include them. Other than these small installation issues the speakers sound great and I'd recommend them. ... show more
