Awesome little tweeters, easy install, it took me and my 16yr old son 20min to install both. They are loud enough and really showcase those highs in the rear cab now. Basic electrical tools, hole saw and some planning is all you need.

I've been upgrading my sound system over the past couple months, and wanted some tweeters to boost my highs after adding a 12 inch sub. These do the trick and are the full package! They sound awesome, and the included crossovers seem to be of good quality. They're a good size that don't stand out too much, but definitely look nice, and the aluminum housing compliments some of the chrome accents on my trucks interior. I used a 1-7/8 inch hole saw to cut out the mounting spots, and these fit in perfectly with very little wiggle room. The screw ring on the back is textured so I got a good grip to tighten it with my hands and no tools needed for that. I ran the wiring off the front door speakers, soldering them into the terminals. Installation from start to finish took about 2 hours including disassembling the door panel, cutting holes, soldering, the whole thing. They sound awesome! There are better tweeters out there for sure, but you'd be spending more than twice the money to get the full setup with crossovers. I'm using mid-range, budget-mindet components for my sound system upgrade, and these fit the bill while sounding nice as well. I might get another set for the back doors. They're that good. I'd give 10 stars if I could. ... show more

I bought these tweeters totally off the specs. However, I was deceived once I opened the package. The advertisement claims 320 watts of power! That’s not even close. RMS power is rated at 40 watts, and max is 80 watts! Where does the 320 come in? Deceiving customers

I bought 4 of these tweeters for my truck to go with 4 Skar pax 6.5 drivers and 2 sundown u12’s. I have a JL audio TWK 88 DSP for active crossover points. My plan was to have the subs on a scv-4000/ mids skar 200-4 and tweeters on 75.4 which worked great for a day and a half. I set the gains on the tweeter amp with an oscilloscope and DMM to a modest 12 volt out put which I clamped 35-38 watts going to each tweeter. They sounded great for the price until three out of the 4 started to smell like the coils were burning. So I double checked my wattage going to the tweeters which was still under 40. But the damage was done the 3 are dead. I’m going back to the alpine type R tweeters. Skar makes some great products this is not one of them.... I would say the rating for rms is off. Stick with head unit power for these. I cut one open to have a look at the internals and they seem cheaply made. But they look nice. ... show more
