The time is very easy to read. The date is very small and hard to read as otherwise have noted. I don't really need the date so it is not a big problem for me. Overall, I really like the watch. The color matches the picture.

I like the easy-to-read clock face, the genuine leather band (a bit stiff now, but it will soften with use), and the overall fit and look on my wrist.
