SITKA DESIGN NOTES Sitka Gear wanted to redefine how a softshell jacket performs on active mountain hunts. Sitka's solution was to create a jacket that breathes well, blocks wind, repels rain and snow, and did not inhibit movement. Sitka Gear achieved this with GORE-TEX INFINIUM with WINDSTOPPER Technology for unbeatable weather protection, a DWR finish to prevent the face fabric from wetting out, and an articulated patterning for complete range of motion.

This jacket is thin but it's very warm. It's not noisy and it keeps the wind out. Perfect all around jacket because it's good by itself for cool or moderately cold weather but is also thin enough to be layered with a hoodie or thicker jacket for super cold weather.

Love this jacket very versatile with the pit zips and tightening hold. Have hunted in if, fished in it, and done everything you can think of. It’s a great jacket just not the warmest at below 40s and not completely rain proof, but a sprinkle or short rain it will keep you dry

great product, but terrible customer service from Sitka... purchased this jacket as a gift direct from sitka. It was on sale when i purchased it, but the owner needed a larger size. So i tried to exchange it for a larger size. Their exchange process (if that's what you call it) does not ever offer an exchange, returns only. After talking to two different people at Sitka I was told that the jacket was refunded and they would not honor the original sale price. So i purchased the replacement through amazon. hopefully someone other than Sitka reeps a profit off the sale. ... show more
