Very warm, very comfortable. Throw so.e hot hands in there and it's like a oven for your hands. I sometimes keep my call in there, my range finder in the front pocket(not heated) and my release so it's not cold when I shoot.

Best muff I've owned. Verv comfortable and roomy, the inside had pockets for hand warmers. You won't be disappointed in this. As Sitka can be a bit expensive, I feel this price was very well worth it.

    • Wish I'd of done this years ago!
So far I've just done a test run with this piece of gear, but it shows great promise! I put two 12 hour Zippo Handwarmers in its inside warmer pockets and they kept it toasty warm for 18 plus hours! I can wear it around my neck or around my waist with equal ease depending on what I'm doing.

Get an electric hard-warmer and put an end to freezing hands. I use it ice fishing, sitting in my tree stand and at sport games. Would be without it.

    • Not what I expected
This was one of the highest rated muff in searches for heated hand warmer muff. Not AT ALL a heated muff. Although, it does have two pockets inside for your hand warmers. It feels of nice quality material and in my initial test, it feels like it will keep my hands fairly warm. It's super soft to the touch and feel thick and insulated. I do like the shape, instead of the tube style of most heated ones. I already own rechargeable hand warmers, which don't keep my whole hand warm when watching my son play cold weather sports, hence my desire for a heated muff. So, I'll put those in those interior pockets and see if this muff does what I'm hoping. I was hoping for a muff like the G-Tech heated one, with a little better ergonomics, and was misunderstood about the lack of heating in these. I'm going to keep it for now and see how it does. We live in a cold, wet climate, so keeping my hands warm and dry is important, or I get chilled to the bone. If it doesn't work for me, it should work for the kid between plays. All-in-all, I'm extremely disappointed with the price considering it's nothing more than a regular muff. Other heated brands are the same price or cheaper. I will update if they do or not not work with our nasty wet-cold weather coming soon. ... show more
