This is a great workout tool if your looking for something solid to help you do sit-ups. It's adjustable to three different levels which is a nice feature. It also has a suction cup on the base that works really well keeping it in place while you exercise as long as the floor, or area you're using is clean of dirt and debris. The foam covered handles and rubberized support handles provide plenty of comfort and reduce the risk of any injuries. The "rope pulls" could provide some more resistance than they do so if your someone who is already in pretty good shape and who requires more than basic resistance when it comes to these types of exercises you may want to look for something that provides a bit more resistance. For less than $25, this is an okay purchase. Very lightweight. I have to search the hardwood floor for the right spot to "suck it down" and hopefully. it'll hold for awhile. It's a bit disconcerting to be worrying about your exercise device coming loose and smacking you while you're trying to pump out sit-ups, or whatever. Definitely would work better on a tile floor, if you have one. The cables are really long and not very resistant, but I just knotted them a couple of times, which solved BOTH problems. This is a great idea but for me it needs much stronger elastic pull cords. I am admittedly out of shape (that's why I got it) but the pull cords are much too weak for any assist from using your arms. They offer only 10-20 pounds (my guess) of resistance for helping you to use your arms to help sitting up. For someone lighter & younger that might be enough. I am going to try to find stronger cords that will offer 50-75 pounds of force to get started then I should hopefully be able to gradually work my way down to not needing any assist. ... show more

Well, this is supposes to help work your abdominal muscles, it also has resistance cords which can help tone your arms as well. It seems somewhat durable and it works so far. 4 out of 5 stars because it is not as durable as some others but, still a decent product. I recommend it.

It does do a decent job of holding your feet to the floor but unless you have marble floors it just comes off after a few minutes. So really it comes down to what type of flooring you have. It is adjustable do you can set it depending on how big your feet are.

I just wanted this to retrain my muscles to be able to do unassisted situps again. It's a bit tricky to get it to suction down, but once it's suctioned it does stay well! Sturdy and does exactly what I need for a good price!
