  • Sit has failed. Never buying again.
Size: 4-String Med Lt (45-105)
This is my second set with bad windings. My 5 string set has a bad B and A strings with less than 5 hours of playing, then while on it's stand the offending A string strapped. This set has a bad E. It like the B and A of my other you can hear the windings rattle creating a harmonic that makes it sound out of tune. I was using the Rock Bright Nickels on my 4 string and Peavey Cirrus XL on my 5 string basses, but wanted to try these because my others have a 2 month or less life span before sounding bleh. SIT has still not messaged me back about their failed strings. If they can't even take the time to reply to an email, then I don't need to buy their products. Never again. ... show more

  • Great strings!!
Size: 5-String Lt (45-125)
It's like they were made for my bass. Took care of the floppy E and B string. Good tension. I was using a very light gauge before but the B string was the same gauge but floppy. Will definitely be buying again. Update: just bought a second pair. 4 string. Best strings I've ever used. Yes there are $40 and $50 dollar strings that might be better but I'm on a budget. These are fantastic. ... show more

  • They Do What They Say
Size: 5-String Lt (45-125)
Made the switch from Custom Slinky's a few months ago and while these aren't as "punchy" as the previous strings, they do give a nice low end boost. As for staying in tune, I don't have to "tweak" these in-between sets as I have with other brands. Definitely recommend you give them a try.

  • The strings are really comfortable to play on, a bit more course then Ernie Balls.
Size: 4-String Med Lt (45-105)
The sound and feel are really good. I got these because I am from Ohio, and I like how they respond and how snappy they feel on my fingers. About the only downside is the tricky packaging, since they pack them in sets of 1st string and 3rd string, and 2nd string and 4th string. I made the mistake of not paying attention and putting the 65 where the 85 goes, but thankfully I was able to salvage it. And honestly, I ended up buying another pack to put on my backup. ... show more

  • Great set of strings
Size: 5-String Medium (50-130)
SIT makes some of the best bass strings available. Picked these up during a Prime Day sale so that’s just an added bonus!

  • Great sounding strings but...
Size: 5-String Medium (50-130)
These medium round-wound strings sound great. The problem is they turn my fingers black. I've only been using them about a week but I can't imagine they will last real long if they do this right out of the package...

  • Definitely my new go to strings
Size: 4-String Med Lt (45-105)
Strings feel great, they're slick fast and a choice to play any style and sound good doing it. I've had them on my Edge4 with the preamp pickups for a while and they sound as good as the day I strung them up. Crisp and clear highs and a tight bottom end that with enough wattage can remove small children and animals from the room and empty knick-knacks from shelves 3 rooms away ... show more

  • Like Sandpaper
Size: 5-String Medium (50-130)
Rough feeling strings. Had to switch back to Ernie Ball. Would not recommend these based simply on the “feel.”
