Who would have though such a small ottoman could pack such a punch? The detailed construction of our Siskal Ottoman is rounded out with dark brown faux leather panels stitched together and pulled inward at their intersections, creating the allover tufted look. The ottoman features a wooden frame, foam padding, black fabric-lined bottom and black plastic feet. This style is also offered in black, red and white (each sold separately). This ottoman is small, hollow and relatively lightweight but sturdy. Made in Malaysia; fully assembled. To clean, wipe with a dry cloth. Product dimension: 14.25"Wx14.25"Dx14.75"H.

Pretty, True White, Functional, Legs on Bottom

I paid around $75 for the set with free Prime Shipping. They arrived 7 days after I placed the order. Although they appeared as if they were packaged just fine, one of them had a small tear that looks as if it got stabbed with a knife. I requested a replacement and since I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt (that this will be a smooth, hassle-free experience), I'll review the ottomans without taking this flaw into consideration. (Will update review if necessary.) UPDATE: I received a non-damaged replacement in a few days. :-) This is the 5th furniture piece I've purchased by Baxton Studio. I've learned that their products can be awesome OR highly disappointing. I find this one to be in the first category. FUNCTIONALITY | Not only are these ottomans pretty, they're also highly functional! They're one of the few furniture peices that I can trust my kids not to break. (LOL!) They're soft enough to be comfortable to sit on, yet firm enough to maintain shape when weight is applied to them. SIZE | I find the size to be perfect as an accent piece. The dimensions are ideal for placement in front of a couch or an armchair. They fill horizontal space nicely yet the height doesn't obstruct the vertical view. (They don't block the view of my favorite floor lamp.) NOTE: I wouldn't recommend buying this as a main furniture component (eg: Placing together as a coffee table/using for primary seating) unless you intend to place them in a very small room. They're probably too small to be a feature element. COLOR/DESIGN | The color is a TRUE white... It's not cream, beige, or eggshell, ect. In combination with the tufting, it gives them a very crisp, clean look. MATERIAL | The "leather-like" material is easy-to-clean. Most importantly, it does NOT look tacky. It seems to be of a decent quality and I expect them to hold up well with time. HEADS UP!!! These have legs on the bottom (I couldn't tell by the product description or pictures so I imagine that most people will be unaware of this as well). This results in static positioning so you can't just place them on any of the 4 sides... In other words: Only one of the sides can serve as the top. From my perspective (thinking down the road), this is a disadvantage as you won't be able to flip them to a new position in the event that one of the sides suffers damage. However, the advantage is that this design seems to improve the ottoman's stability. Overall, I find these ottomans to be worthy of the price. Great job Baxton Studio!

Well Worth It

Reading some of the reviews I thought they were white. They are more of an off white, which is debatable, depending what you put them against. I purchased a white chair thinking these ottomans would match, they're a little off. However, they are very sturdy and well made. I removed the short legs for more detailed legs. The new legs added an extra inch off the floor. They're still a nice addition to the room.

White ottoman added some BLING

For the price, these cubes are so fabulous looking. I ended up buying 2 sets so I have 4 cubes at home. I got the white color and it looks beautiful in my apartment. I had family and friends over and tons of people sitting on them and they still look brand new. As you can see in the pics I ended up adding some rhinestone BLING to the cubes because what girl doesn't need a little extra sparkle? They're wonderful in plain white but this was a super easy DIY. Very happy with my purchase! Only comment is these are a little hard to get out of the packaging at first - they are packed in TIGHT which is a good thing because they are well packed but a lot of tugging needed to get them out of the box. Otherwise, absolutely love them! I purchased this product with my own money.

really decent for the price

Nice-looking Ottomans covered in synthetic material. They're lightweight, but feel sturdy and are lightly padded, making them comfortable for casual seating or use as a foot stool. The tufting is on all sides but the bottom. The vinyl material looks believably like leather, though it's obviously not when touched. Surprisingly attractive, sturdy Ottomans considering the price for a pair. There's no "give" when I sit on them (nearly 200lbs). If I had to quibble, I'm not a huge fan of the tufting on the sides. If the bottom was tufted also (and footless), the cubes could be used in any orientation-- handy when the tops eventually fade or are damaged. But as it is, they can only be used with the one side on top. The removable feet are hard plastic and two of them show cracks already (from shipping, but still). The vinyl could be a little softer like pleather. All that said, these are amazing for the price, and better than I expected to find. Recommended.

Don’t waste your money!!!!!!

These cams damaged! I’m furious! I did read reviews of others missing the feet at the bottom but I was hoping I’d get lucky. Nope. Straight out of the box and 2 of the 4 are broken in several pieces laying inside the box. These are cute but now I can’t use them to sit on if I wanted to because of them being broken. They were almost $80 and I expected more. They are cute but horrible customer service to receive brand new defective items. I’m highly disappointed. And I can’t seem to contact service. I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning. I wish I could just get a refund and buy them else where. I’m so upset.

Beautiful. Useful accent pieces!

The quality is very good, and they are so nice looking. Great foot stools or set them together at the end of the bed to sit when changing clothes and shoes. They look much more expensive than they are! Two drawbacks: 1.The fabric on the bottom, stapled there to keep out dust, debris and insects, is not large enough to cover properly. 2. The items are out in plastic bags for shipping, from Asia, but the bags are NOT SEALED. There was some questionable debris falling out of the bags when i unsealed the boxes. Bugs coming in on Asian products have been a problem recently- just look online to see! Products should be sanitized and carefully sealed up for shipping to this country, to prevent infestations. But these items are okay, I sprayed them down with 99% isopropyl alcohol before I set them up in my home
