Features

  • Transform FUJI APS-C to Master of Imaging - Installing on FUJI APS-C cameras, SIRUI 85mm full-frame is equivalent to a 127mm telephoto lens, providing a shallower depth of field with desirable bokeh and creative effects. Designed with superior optics, this full-frame lens elevates your image quality with improved sharpness and contrast when used on an APS-C sensor, achieving a perfect balance between image quality, volume, and weight.
  • Ultra Fast Aperture - This f/1.4 fast aperture lens is equipped with fifteen-blade diaphragms, ensuring sufficient light to enter into cameras even in low-light conditions. The blurred background decorated with magnificent bokeh also provides a dreamy look to your creative shots.
  • Fast, Smooth & Precise AF - This auto-focus lens features a step motor, supporting eye AF and object tracking for enhanced accuracy and smoothness autofocus performance, suitable for snapshots or capturing fast-moving subjects.
  • King of Portrait - As a classic focal length for portrait shots, 85mm is perfect for natural facial shots. The moderate distance between photographer and subject makes it ideal for portrait, close-up, long-distance shooting, long focal length compression, creamy bokeh creation.
  • Super Lightweight - Aurora Series 85mm AF lens with optimized lens structure decreases its weight to only 550g/1.2lbs, around 17% lower than similar lenses in the market. The lightweight and compact design allows for a long-time hand-held or gimbal work.
  • Professional Lens Control - An AF/MF focus mode switch, AFL button, and aperture ring with switchable click stops provide flexible controls of the lens to meet individual needs.

  • Perfect for events and portrait lens.
Size: For Nikon Z
I just received this lens Z mount for my Nikon Z8 this evening and quickly tried it out. I just couldn't be happier to see its results. This is my best portrait lens I've ever had. It eliminated both foreground and background and turned them into nice creamy blur and bokeh. Its build quality on top of perfect image and discount price for F1.4 aperture are exceptional. I really couldn't complain, but just so happy that I actually purchased and tried it out. It really turned out to be my best choice. ... show more

  • Excellent portrait lens, almost perfect.
Size: For Sony E
Ridiculous nice bokeh, great color rendering, good sharpness at f1.4, fast AF in most situations. I am using Canon EF 1.2L ii and Leica R 80mm 1.4 with techart ea7. This lens is better in every way comparing to Leica R 80/1.4 except one, distortion. However, for less than 1/4 price and 300 grams less weight, I decided to keep this. Here are 2 photos from this lens and Leica R80... ... show more

  • Great lens with a few nice extras!
Size: For Sony E
My Sirui 85mm F1.4 just got in! No good pictures with it yet, just a quick snap of my cat in not-so-great light. I had a bit of delay getting it- first, it took some time to clear customs, then the shipper said I wasn't home on the first delivery attempt (I was). Nice little piece of kit. It came with a padded case and two 67mm filters (UV and black mist). Fit and finish seem fine, I'm not sure it needs to say "full frame" on it, but the clickable/smooth aperture ring is nice, and it works well. Big AFL button works well, some others had said it had an odd feel to it but mine doesn't. I have mine mapped to change focus area (wide, center, etc.). My other 85mm is the Sony 85mm F1.8- this lens certainly has a few more features, and it seems to be plenty sharp. It was (is?) on sale on Amazon for $499, I had some points from buying Christmas presents so it only cost me about $415. I have to say I'm pleased- and customer service has been great, they reached out to me to confirm my camera and mount before finalizing the order, they reached out again when the original delivery failed to see if they could help. If you are looking for a portrait lens that won't break the bank, I'd say go with this one- you won't be disappointed! ... show more

  • Amazing but just 1 thing…
Size: For Sony E
Image quality - A Autofocus speed - B+ Build quality - C I give build quality a C because of 2 things 1. The aperture ring is too close to the grip and digs into your fingers. Use it enough and you’ll start blistering 2. The aperture ring does not have a lock. So you may accidentally knock the lens into f16 by accident Those are my 2 qualms but it really is an amazing lens and I would recommend this well over the GM version. I’ve used both and optically you can’t tell the difference. So save yourself $1200 and get the Sirui ... show more

  • Professional feel at a enthusiast price.
Size: For Nikon Z
Great build quality, it metal barrel feels great, no flex or plastic texture. As a result the lens does weigh more than it's plastic competition but it's not uncomfortably heavy. I find the focus is fast for portraits and stills. Slight (you have to pixel peep to notice) chromatic aberration but is easily corrected in post. The aperture ring is a light light on the detent, can move it accidentally when changing lens or if you hold that far back on the lens. The images, what really matters, are amazing. I had a friend tell me once you use a F1.4 or F1.2 lens you will look at photos in a new way. And he was right. The images are sharp, the bokeh is exactly how you'd imagine f1.4 can give you. ... show more

Recieved used item when I paid for a new one. Box was opened and taped closed with clear tape, lens was removed from sealed bag. Tried it our anyways, the lens was fairly soft at focus point.

  • Well-built portrait lens with gorgeous boken and great low-light performance
Size: For Nikon Z
I've been a fan of Sirui's anamorphic cinema lenses for a while but I honestly didn't even know they made spherical lenses. My Nikkor 24-70mm ƒ2.8 is my workhorse lens and I probably shoot 90% of my photos with it, but I've been wanting a good portrait lens ever since I moved to mirrorless and sold off my F-mount lenses Unfortunately, I don't do enough portrait work these days to justify dropping $2600 on Nikon's lovely 85mm ƒ1.2 Z-mount lens, but when I got the e-mail announcing the 85mm Auroria (with Black Friday discount to boot), I impulse bought it without even thinking. It helped that I had almost exactly the right amount of points on my credit card to get it without spending cash, I'll admit. But, even if I had paid cash out of pocket, I would have zero regrets. It's a really freaking nice lens. As with all of Sirui's lenses, the build quality is great, especially considering the price point. It also somehow manages to feel both modern and vintage at the same time. The satisfying clicking you can turn on when using manual aperture brings me back a few decades, but the option to also spin it to A and just use it like any other Z-mount autofocus lens really seals the deal. I haven't had a chance to really use it in anger yet, but I took a few test shots around my studio and a couple outdoors after sunset. The low-light performance is really solid and the bokeh is really beautiful. I also shot a test grid out of curiosity. There is a bit of pincushion distortion, but it's pretty minimal and nothing that you would notice in most real-world shots. I'm very much looking forward to running this lens through its paces, but I have little doubt it's going to quickly become my #2 lens for still photography. ... show more
