As hubby was recovering from surgery, we had hoped this mattress topper would provide an extra bit of comfort AND coolness during recovery. It was a little more comfortable but after about a week, it soon tore all the way across the middle, where the butt was probably placing pressure. My husband is not overweight at only 165 lbs., and we never dreamed this would happen. The media could not be loaded. Bought this product in size XL to function as a sleeping pad for tent camping. I opened it up and laid it flat per instructions to open up over night and the next morning there were already 2 tears in the foam. The hassle of returning a product like this is not worth its weight and size because it will never fit back in the box. Given we haven’t even used it yet and it’s already ripped, I imagine camping with it will cause its life span to shorten even further, despite how careful we are with it. ... show more
