I replaced the non-working radio in my 20+ yo truck. Easy to install after reading the instructions and finding some YouTube videos. I had to make a slight trim in the dash bezel to get the screen to fit. The backup camera installation was much easier than anticipated. The radio stops playing when the car is put in reverse. I am able to connect to CarPlay very easily. The sound is pretty good for an inexpensive car radio. The microphone for making or answering phone calls is adequate. I moved it closer to my head in the headliner and it works better. The FM radio is great. I put some music on a USB drive and it plays better than using the CD player I used to have. Good value.

We bought this for the motorhome for the move and also for music. Android auto worked great. This is the version where you have to have it plugged in through USB!!!! Get that out of the way. The power from the US socket isn't strong enough for most modern high end phones. It's a slow, very slow drain with it plugged in. Audio is superb. If you need to have your phone unplugged, you can get a dongle for wireless android auto/car play. Come on, the price of the head unit is more than fair, you can sport another 20 dollars for a dongle. The camera cable wasn't long enough to attach on the RV. The remote is a joke. Still happy with the purchase. We were even watching movies and music videos from a USB stick. Not while driving. Phone audio blows BTW but we mainly bought it for the maps and other features

Bought for my truck and the remote didn't work day 1. after install noticed that the radio function doesn't work in certain parts of my city. Had it checked, wires good and install good just a cheap radio. Clock can't keep time.

I give this radio a 5 star review because for the 36 dollars I paid, it works great. If you’re expecting superior sound and quality, this isn’t for you and you need to spend the appropriate money. I installed this in my Jeep Wrangler TJ and fits nice. One issue I have found with it but not a big deal to me is the radio needs to be on before connecting your phone and using CarPlay, plugging in before it powers on seems to disable CarPlay and you have to turn it off and powering back on before plugging the phone back in to make it work. Sound quality is decent, and volume level is loud enough to mask the sounds and flapping of the soft top, and wind noise when the top is down. Again, very good for the money, but not top quality and the 5 star is based on value for the money.

If you're wanting to add Android Auto & Apple Carplay to an older vehicle, this does an ok job, especially for the price. Android auto works great. However, if you're using it for navigation, the FM radio does not work. You actually have to get out of AA and go to radio which negates having it for nav. The USB port you plug your phone into does not have enough power to actually charge a phone (Pixel 6 pro) or at least keep it topped up. If you use the AA feature for navigation, your battery will eventually run out. Voice call feature works, but the microphone is awful. You can hear the other party fine, but fore them to hear you you'll be shouting. Wiring install was easy enough. Be sure to get a Car Radio Wiring Harness Connector Adapter for your model of vehicle. Makes install easier than cutting your old connector and splicing in. Mounting is a challenge, at least on my vehicle. I had to engineer a solution. Your result may vary.

Nice little deal for 40$ ...your not going to enter a West coast sound system battle with it ...but it's feature rich little unit that brought my 1997 GMC Yukon into the future. Pretty easy to install the two harness system makes for cleaner wiring ....and it works flawlessly with my android phone for wireless phone calls through the head unit and plays my music via wire less Bluetooth. Haven't hardwired my phone into it yet....so not sure on the phone mirroring. But the camera that came with it hooked up pretty easy and works good . Again your not filming a movie throught the thing just letting you see what's behind your vehicle ( with you should be aware of already) .....over all a good deal for a cheap feature rich little unit.

This radio has been working fantastically in my old jeep wrangler, my only problem with it is that the Amazon pictures for it are completely inaccurate and falsely advertise a different software on the radio. The interface looks awful and nothing like the images shown. But I do love that the Bluetooth connects to my phone almost immediately
