I give this radio a 5 star review because for the 36 dollars I paid, it works great. If you’re expecting superior sound and quality, this isn’t for you and you need to spend the appropriate money. I installed this in my Jeep Wrangler TJ and fits nice. One issue I have found with it but not a big deal to me is the radio needs to be on before connecting your phone and using CarPlay, plugging in before it powers on seems to disable CarPlay and you have to turn it off and powering back on before plugging the phone back in to make it work. Sound quality is decent, and volume level is loud enough to mask the sounds and flapping of the soft top, and wind noise when the top is down. Again, very good for the money, but not top quality and the 5 star is based on value for the money. ... show more

    • Good features for about an hour till it crapped out on me.
Installed easily with everything that came with it. Worked good for about an hour then crapped out on me. Should have known for the price. Update: Customer service was excellent I was issued a refund for the radio in a timely manner. Would order again from this seller.

I replaced the non-working radio in my 20+ yo truck. Easy to install after reading the instructions and finding some YouTube videos. I had to make a slight trim in the dash bezel to get the screen to fit. The backup camera installation was much easier than anticipated. The radio stops playing when the car is put in reverse. I am able to connect to CarPlay very easily. The sound is pretty good for an inexpensive car radio. The microphone for making or answering phone calls is adequate. I moved it closer to my head in the headliner and it works better. The FM radio is great. I put some music on a USB drive and it plays better than using the CD player I used to have. Honestly it's the only one that would fit my truck. The backup cam that it came with was a joke so I ordered another one. It does not charge my phone when plugged in. When it is plugged in Android auto freezes and make a deafening noise when glitching and can only be fixed by restarting my truck. Not worth the effort of insulation at all. Go anywhere else for a stereo ... show more

If you're wanting to add Android Auto & Apple Carplay to an older vehicle, this does an ok job, especially for the price. Android auto works great. However, if you're using it for navigation, the FM radio does not work. You actually have to get out of AA and go to radio which negates having it for nav. The USB port you plug your phone into does not have enough power to actually charge a phone (Pixel 6 pro) or at least keep it topped up. If you use the AA feature for navigation, your battery will eventually run out. Voice call feature works, but the microphone is awful. You can hear the other party fine, but fore them to hear you you'll be shouting. Wiring install was easy enough. Be sure to get a Car Radio Wiring Harness Connector Adapter for your model of vehicle. Makes install easier than cutting your old connector and splicing in. Mounting is a challenge, at least on my vehicle. I had to engineer a solution. Your result may vary. ... show more

    • Feature rich little unit good price point
Nice little deal for 40$ ...your not going to enter a West coast sound system battle with it ...but it's feature rich little unit that brought my 1997 GMC Yukon into the future. Pretty easy to install the two harness system makes for cleaner wiring ....and it works flawlessly with my android phone for wireless phone calls through the head unit and plays my music via wire less Bluetooth. Haven't hardwired my phone into it yet....so not sure on the phone mirroring. But the camera that came with it hooked up pretty easy and works good . Again your not filming a movie throught the thing just letting you see what's behind your vehicle ( with you should be aware of already) .....over all a good deal for a cheap feature rich little unit. ... show more

    • Didn’t last long but customer service is amazing
It was easy to install and looked pretty good. Too bad it only worked for about 2 days then it died. It is wired up correctly and I used a test light to check power it is getting power all the way to the unit and the fuses are all good it just doesn’t work anymore. *Edit - Without even asking the seller offered a full refund for the faulty component. This reason I changed the star from a 1 to a 4. Rest assured if you receive a product that fails they will ensure you are satisfied, this alone I will buy from them again in the future! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So i bough this for the Chrysler Crossfire. I wanted something that i could use apple car play with but not sacrifice my buttons above the stereo. I couldve gone something bigger but this thing fits perfect. I can still use all my climate control buttons with no issues. Not to mention this radio is super responsive. Not hating other brands but i have a Corehan double din in another car and it's super slow compared to this. Carplay connects quick and they send you a free backup cam. 10/10 would recommend. ... show more
