This radio is straight garbage, it’s stuck in no video input and can’t get it off of it. Should have known better when it only cost 65.00 and to top it off it’s built VERY POORLY. Just installed this radio. Poorly made. Had it in my truck for 2 days, hit a bump in the road and screen cracked all the way across and no longer able to operate any functions on the screen or use at all. Also does not come with any screws to mount with a dash kit. UPDATE: Finally got in contact with seller. Should be receiving a new one soon.

As the title says...for three or four months, it worked just fine, albeit you really can't see much in bright sunshine. Oh and it would get confused in Car Play if you skipped through songs too fast (it would keep playing, but the screen would freeze). Then one day, the backup camera, which I had wired to only come on when the car is in reverse, started randomly coming on while driving. And now it's on all the time. So I have no sound system at all, just a full-time rear view camera, and I can't return it since we're past 90 days. It wasn't a total loss, because buying this taught me how to wire up and install a head unit and back up camera, so it'll be pretty easy to get a better unit and just connect all the like-colored wires. But I wouldn't recommend this unit to anyone based on my experience. Do more research, spend a little more, and get a better product. EDIT - in fairness to the product, it turned out the power wire I routed to the reverse camera was shorting out somewhere in the engine bay (I have a mid engined car). I disconnected the reverse camera, and now the unit works fine as a CarPlay unit, just with no reverse camera. It's still not perfect - it especially has problems if you try to voice text while driving, which seems to overload its capacity and will freeze everything up. But otherwise, for the money, it's decent. I would still recommend saving up and spending a little more for something better, though.

Easy to install as long as you order the plug and play wires thankfully I didn't have stock amplifiers BUT MY ONLY NEGATIVE COMMENT IS I HAVE TO USB PORT MY PHONE TO DO ANYTHING BLUETOOTH ONLY ALLOWS CALLING BUT YOU CANT TALK THROUGH IT THE OUT PUT MIC QUALITY IS CRAP

I know you get what you pay for but I like it ,looks great, fit great,easy to install. sounds good until till it overheats and sound turns to crap. Don't even try to turn on the loudness setting, instantly my the sound turn to crap and it shut downdue to overheating. Once it cools off it powered back on.so if you run it at low volume,no more than 5, it works and will last 30-40 min before it over heats. Just like one of the other comments mine did not come with a remote either but I was ok with that. This weekend(8-9-24) I am going to hook it up to an amplifier to see if I can get it to not overheat by using the amp to power the stock speakers and not overheat sine the amp is doing most of the work ( will update later). If it didn't overheat like it does I would give it at least 4.5 Star review. like I said in the beginning it looks good,but you get what you pay for.

This thing is a great value adds back up camera and android/apple car play for goggle maps and whatever music you want and gives you the control to skip songs etc. Best bag for buck.
