These Solid Pine Wood Slats were a perfect addition to my mom's bed frame! They provided excellent support for her full-size mattress. We had to remove the box spring since it made her bed to tall for her to safely get on. The solid pine construction felt sturdy and reliable. It's important to note that we did need to cut the slats down slightly to fit her specific bed frame. If you know the exact size the company will cut them down for you. Since we weren’t sure we ordered as they were and cut them ourselves. Overall, we highly recommend these Solid Pine Wood Slats! They're a great way to add sturdy, affordable support to any full-size mattress. Just be sure to double-check the measurements of your bed frame before purchasing to ensure a perfect fit. It’s a long story. The beginning when I received the item, 7 blocks can see small dark points, as for bed board, hopefully perfect quality. I leaved negative comment, decided to exchange it. But it’s too heavy to carry it to UPS. Usually I walk half hour to return items as good chance for exercise. Packed half and save the good ones, I think will pay half price for this item. so it’s much easy to carry on to car. After I packed the big package, saw information , I can leave this heavy package at building concierge. No need worrying about how to carry on to UPS store. So happy. After late, I can’t find the website window how to let the company know, I want to pay half price as I only sent half back for return. Exchange item came back too fast to expect. Look the good item, don’t know how to do, I had no chance to return another half put it at building concierge. So, I thought if I didn’t put the first picture show to public comment, it may equal as the price . The idea makes me feel peace and forgot above. After long time, I saw Amazon show me what I leaved messages about this item, it’s the first time I wrote the comment, it’s negative , I feel very sorry remember it should be delete but why it’s not yet ? Today, back to this item, want to say, I got very best quality wood bed boards , and also used them to different ways. Always thankful. Picture and description of product show clear boards free of knots with rounded edges. Product received is full on knots that weaken the slats. In fact, one cracked with very minor flexing. Most of the knots are in the middle third of the slats, making them weaker at the most flexible area. Also, the edges have not been eased with rounding, concerning me that my new mattress could get torn on these slats. I could have found similar quality at Home Depot or Lowe's for much less money. Very disappointed. I will seek a refund. ... show more
