    • Not what Singer used to be
Every time I started, so the whole needle mechanism would start shaking, and it would knot the thread up at the fabric and in the bobbin area.

I love the SINGER brand sewing machines. The only thing I do not like is that when doing embroidery the lettering is really small. It does not give me the option to choose the size of lettering I want. I ended up having to buy an embroidery machine to do the size of lettering I wanted.

I have a sewing machine (or two) and don't quite know how to use them. They are older (both are almost 30 yrs old) so ordering this one was a no trainer with all the digital functions/options that it has. Don't laugh at me as I like gadgets. I ordered this because I have aspirations on making my own dog bed covers, shower and window curtains and more. I think having this beautiful machine will help with those more intricate stitches. Plus it's a real singer so do I need to say more??? It has a good weight and footprint. I have to get one 9f my friends who sews to help me with it. If I try to get my mom, she might try to take it for herself. ... show more
