What’s a value! I retired recently and thought I would sew more. I recovered my patio furniture in a heavy duty canvas. Then I took the sewing machine apart- just to see how it works and to put it back together. I confirmed that the components are heavy duty material - not plastic. It works amazingly well and I learned a lot about how sewing machines work. Golf cart cover- next project.

This is a pretty basic machine, but it does sew heavy duty material quite well. I was very pleased- finally able to mend and sew things that my other machine couldn't handle. Doesn't do fancy- but has all the basic features you need.

It’s a great machine with a variety of stitch types but if you aren’t going to be seeing heavy materials, I’d opt for a smoother and lighter machine. I enjoy it but the wife has a hard time with lighter materials. Hard to describe but the motor sounds clunky sometimes like it’s slamming down during its stroke.
