I included a photo to show how much bigger these spools of thread are compared to the "set size". These are great for the colors (used most frequently) especially for embroidery. These spools would be too big to put on a normal sewing machine's spindle but can always use a thread stand as shown in picture (stand also sold on amazon). ... show more

I purchased this tread to finish a tote bag I am making. I did some free motion quilting and I absolutely love the way the thread looks. It has a beautiful sheen to it. It looks almost metallic. I will purchase more of this thread as I am very impressed.
