Works for piecing and quilting mostly. Seems to break more frequently than other more expensive threads of similar material and weight. Love the shininess of this particular silver color - adds a nice pop to quilting. You can load a lot on a bobbin so you have to wind fewer/project. I found it a little tricky to set my thread tension for this (hint: both top and bottom need to be adjusted) because it’s different than cottons of same weights but no where near the linting issues of cotton. I’m going to use mine up - Jury is still out on ordering more but with this much it’s going to be a while ... show more

love this brand! the spool of thread was huge but luckily it’s still able to go normally even though the other threads i use are smaller. this break never breaks on me compared to this other brand that i bought, i also use this thread for sewing because whenever i use another thread for sewing it always breaks no matter what, definitely worth the money! ... show more
