I'm a beginner so this is perfect for me. It's smaller than I thought it would be. But It's super fun to play with. Controlling it is simple, easy, and straightforward. The only hard thing is keeping it flying steadily to get the best shot of what you want its camera to focus on. My drone tends to glide to either side. I guess that happened because I only play it inside the house due to the fact that it's very lightweight, too light that strong wind could flow it away. I love that It comes with an extra battery so I can swap out when one dies. The camera is okay. The live view when connected to my phone is good with no delay. It's clear and produces good-quality video when there's enough light around. If playing it in a darker area, the image or video might not be as good with lots of grain. However, the drone itself has RGB light that looks great in the dark. The controller also has LED lights that look very attractive. I also love that It has a ring cover for the drone's propeller in case it hits something or drops on the ground, which happened to my old one. It also comes with a couple extra propellers, just in case things happen. The 360-degree flip function is so fun to play. It might take a little time to get used to, but once I know how to do it, I can't stop doing it over and over again. This is a really cool toy drone best suited for 10 to 12 year olds. It is relatively small about 4 inches by 5 inches. It is very lightweight and very sturdy made of flexible and unbreakable plastic. I have crashed it several times with no issues to the drone or walls. It took me a while to figure out how to turn it on and connect to my phone, but that is because I am an adult and not a 10 year old! Battery life is fine and they give you two for uninterrupted play. The camera is fine and transmits well to my phone. i have not tried it outside but this seems best suited to indoors. It is inexpensive, well-made, and well-designed. I had better luck controlling it with the joysticks vs the phone as I could not quite figure that part out. This would be a great stocking stuffer toy that a child would have lots of fun with. I actually purchased this for my nephew and he has had a lot of fun with it. ... show more

I was a little skeptical at first upon receiving the drone but was rather surprised when I received it and started playing with it. It’s for sure a decent drone for beginners. With all things it has it’s pros and cons. It’s a bit difficult to get set up with your phone but is doable. Stability is decent, takes a little getting use to flying it but is very durable for its size. All I’m all it’s a good purchase for the price. It is well constructed with safety features for crashes which helps to mitigate damage to the drone's rotors. I like the real time video that you can watch on your IPhone. I would say it's oriented to the young teenager or preteen. Can be used indoors and outdoors. It's particularly attractive at night with the RGB lights. I am not a big drone user - this was more of a trial in finding something I could give to my son to use. It's pretty lightweight, the speed is up there, and its got it's own controller which is pretty cool but it wasn't that easy for me to get the controls figured out and kept flying the drone into the wall.
