I haven’t experienced anything going wrong with the hydraulics when raising or lowering the stools. These are fairly cheap chairs, but they don't look cheap. They feel OK, though very light. For eating meals, or having a zoom class for a few hours, they stay comfortable. As a bonus, my cats seem to like them too.

I purchased this stool in June 2020 for $136.99. The seat itself is good but the metal work is shotty and unsafe. The picture shows underneath the base. The welds are horrible and the have slowly broken apart overtime. No one over 180lb has ever sat in this chair. I've never seen metal breakdown over time like this. ... show more
