Top piece on the first one I got was missing the piece you use to screw it together. Amazon came through though and sent another one... I was able to swap the top off of and ship back to them. All worked out in the end. Was easy to piece together and looks nice.

Was easy to put together , there are 3 different screws that came separate. There was some rust and scratches on the metal but it's going to have shoes covering it so it's whatever. It has a slight wobble when I fully assembled but it went away mostly when I put some shoes on it. I weight about 225lbs. I sat on the bench for about 30 seconds and moved around a bit. I didn't felt I was going to tip over or hear any creeks. For $50 I can't complain. ... show more

This arrived this morning and I put it together right away. It came with screws and an Allen key, which is all you need. The directions were simple and clear. The bench was easy to assemble. I hope the cushion doesn't flatten out much with use, at least for a long time. It is small, which I knew by the measurements listed, and it was what I wanted to fit in my narrow entryway. I was annoyed because there were scrapes on some of the pieces (as pictured), which I tried to conceal by facing those parts inwards. Not worth the hassle of sending back. Despite being shipped in a much larger box, the original box was a bit beat up and I was concerned it was a previous return. As for sturdiness, time will tell. There is a picture to show an example of the soldering being questionable, even though the box says it holds up to 500lbs. Overall, looks good, was easy to put together, does the job. Compared to similar items, this was much cheaper. I like it and if it lasts, it's a good value for your money. ... show more
