I bought this product to organize shoes in my closet. For some time, I have been searching for the best solution. I bought and tried other systems to organize shoes, but somehow my shoes always ended up on the floor of the closet. I even considered buying a shoe cabinet to put outside my closet. I am happy I didn't, because with this product I found something that works! What I like most about this product is that is light but sturdy, it was easy to put together, it fits in my closet, it allows me to see which shoes I am looking for, and it allows me to place the shoes back in their designated cubby when they are put away. When I went to assemble this, I found that TWO of the "sleeves" that the structural poles go into were missing. The top left and bottom right edges each had an unstitched section 8-10" long, and two rectangles of fabric lay loose in the bottom of the box. Despite my better judgment, I got out the sewing machine and fixed the error, carefully attaching the two loops. (The rectangles, folded in half lengthwise, became loops when stitched into the corner seams.) I got this particular item through Amazon Warehouse Deals, so in essence I sacrificed time and effort for a marginally lower price. Fine, whatever. After all that, I put it together and it served the purpose quite well. It's attractive enough (though it's in my closet, so I didn't really care) and it holds even high-heeled pumps and ankle boots just fine. When it came to flat sandals and skimmers, two pair easily fit into a single cubby. With 23 pair of shoes and ankle boots in it, the extra weight was a concern, so I put empty shoeboxes underneath to take some of the weight off the frame and the "nonwoven" fabric. It seems sturdy enough, and I'm satisfied with the final result. ... show more

Nice shoe rack. However I am disappointed in the packaging. I don’t know if mines was used and returned if the material just cheap. After I had put the shoe race together, I noticed a rip on the bottom. After putting all my shoes inside the shoe rack. I know that ot won’t last long because, eventually the shoes will get so heavy that it’ll rip off the whole material and the shoe race will fall apart. I am not going to return it, because I don’t want to have to go through the hassle of taking the shoe race apart and pack it up and return it. ... show more

Love these! This is my second set. First set lasted a good 8 years, but time for new, clean, solid ones. I did glue the joints this time, just because I have a lot of shoes and often pack 2-3 pair or boats in each cubby. They held ups great, even kept one of the old units for out of season/basement storage. After my five month old shepherd pup grew out of the large airline crate the breeder recommend, I started looking around for a crate to contain him and give him room. He’s very strong and a plastic crate wouldn’t last. This crate is perfect to put him in at night. He’s in the walk in closet and wakes me up when he’s ready to go outside. I put his bed and all his toys inside and it’s a comfortable and safe place for him to sleep. I don’t have to worry about him getting into stuff or peeing in the house. The crate is very strong and unlike the plastic crate, I can see him easily. The wheels make it convenient to move the crate when cleaning.
