The Simple Modern Trek Signature Tumbler is double walled and vacuum insulated to keep your drink hot or cold for hours, and it's ceramic lining also helps to preserve your drink's flavor. The cup is outfitted with an easy-to-grip, ergonomic handle, that is aesthetically designed and provides elevated comfort. It also comes with a push-to-lock lid with silicone straw, so simply pull the straw piece upwards to drink freely, or push the straw piece downwards to lock into place. Excellent travel cup. I swear I use this year round and always get questions and complements on both the style and skeleton print. Not a fully leak proof cap, but I do love this design with the detachable straw and silicone top straw. At least if it does tip over you're fairly safe from a large mess, I do appreciate the design of this tumbler over others I've had. I have had this one for at least 5 months and I've had minimal spill issues. I will say, if you drink carbonated beverages just know the pressure will build up, and it will spill out the straw. In August 2025, I purchased Simple Modern's 24 oz insulated tumbler for iced coffee on the go, and love it. I wanted something bigger for other drinks, and purchased this one, thinking that the lid would be the same style as the 24 oz, where the one-piece straw goes all the way through the insulated lid—Works great, well-insulated, spill proof, and super easy to clean. This 40 oz has a completely different lid and straw. The part above the lid is rubber/silicone, and can't be removed. Underneath the lid, a SECOND straw of hard clear plastic presses into the bottom of the lid and reaches to the bottom of the mug. I'm guessing this design is for better spill-proofing, but the tradeoff with the complexity of the lid is not an improvement. Today I just noticed mold where the straw plugs in underneath the lid, and the design prevents a straw brush from cleaning it out. I'm currently looking for a replacement lid, because I'm very happy with the rest of the mug. My overall star rating of 4 combines 5 for the mug, and 1 for the lid. ... show more

I have two simple modern tumblers and I love this one as it is actually spill proof. I love the push and pull mechanism that the straw has. These cup keeps things cool for extended periods of time and I love that about it and also note as per the instructions packet that comes with it these cups are not meant to be placed in the fridge to keep cool you have to add your ice to the cup in order for your liquid to keep cool. Overall I liked the cup print, and color. But the lid locking mechanism gave me problems, and there is also not a way to fully disassemble the lid- only the straw itself comes off which will definitely lead to mold growth inside of it. Even if you clean it with the brush they give you. I ended up reaching out the actual brand and the customer service was great, they gave me a credit to purchase a new cup. 5 star customer service. ... show more

This is the cutest water bottle ever! The black cat design is absolutely adorable while still having a fun, spooky vibe. It’s stylish without being gaudy or tacky at all, which I really appreciate. I bought this bottle. The no leak straw worked for a while, then stopped working meaning it was gurgling when I used it and not much water came through. Simple Modern’s customer service is great and they sent me another new Halloween themed Signature Trrk water bottle. However after a couple weeks the straw on the replacement bottle did the same thing except I could barely get any water at all to come through the straw when I used it. I had put the original tan bottle away for a couple months. I got it out and started using it again. The straw had “healed” itself and was working correctly again. So now 4 1/2 months after I got the tan water bottle, the anti slip ring which goes on the bottle of the bottle completely came off. So the bottle has an issue with the two things that would have made it cool: the no leak straw and the anti slip ring. I will not ever buy Simple Modern again. They used to be good, but not anymore. Their customer service is very good, but they continue to sell a product that clearly has design flaws and doesn’t work properly. The leak free straw design does not work. Please don’t sell it anymore until you fix it. ... show more
