These are well made, quality fishing and wading boots for the price. These boots fit comfortably, have good traction, and most importantly, keep my husband’s feet dry while he fishes. My husband loves to fish and wore out a similar pair of a Simms boots that he’d worn for many, many years which he purchased when we lived in Montana. Although we longer reside in Montana, we are glad to be able to support a company based in Bozeman, Montana.

After six outings fishing the evening hatch the Simms boots show no sign of wear, just mud and weed seeds on the boots in the photo. Note the second photo of boots from another source with only one use after about an hour and a half the soles are separating from the boots. I got my money back on those then got those Simms and they are great. These are my first Simms and the sixth pair of wading boots. The way they are holding up with my age they could be my last pair of wading boots. Time will tell. They are way better than any of the others and they are the cheapest Simm! I was going to get the next higher grade of Simms but they weren't available at the time with felt bottoms

Only had them for a few weeks and I love them so far. They are comfortable and very affordable. The felt pads are great and create a very slip resistant surface. The only problem is if the ground is wet and muddly it sticks to the bottom of the felt and you have to keep scraping it off, but other than that a very good wading boot.

These boots are made to protect your feet much better than my old boots while trout fishing. They have a large toe box for your waders to have plenty of room as well. A huge upgrade for me.

Overall a solid boot, especially for the price. They didn’t include any studs, but that isn’t a big deal. They are relatively comfortable although they (from my personal experience) run large. I feel as though other boots in size 12 have fit more appropriately. I simply wear two pairs of socks and it does the trick. You’re not going to regret this purchase if you’re looking for an inexpensive but well made boot.

I wear a size 12 shoe and ordered size 13 boots. The boots fit snuggly and provide ankle support, yet with room for my toes. The felt soles performed well in the stream. I have used the boots once and they appear to be very well made. I love the boots.
