I used styrofoam blocks as platforms for plants in lieu of massive amount of stones and dirt in large planter. This reduced the overall weight and cost of filling the planter. The plants are happy.!

My daughter made a styrofoam volcano out of this for school. We cut through it with an electric hot styrofoam cutter off of Amazon and put quick dry cement over it to give it texture and then she painted it at school. Definitely worth the money.

I cut this in half to make a disco cheese (long story haha) this was durable and survived through rainy weather at the festival. Would recommend!

The block works great. I got it 7" thick as I needed 2 pieces about 3-1/2" thick and just cut the block in half. I looked into getting a hot wire cutter but since I was just going to shape the block anyway I just ended cutting it in two with a regular hand saw. I found that you can shape fast with 80 grit sandpaper and finish with 120. I use the sandpaper on the semi rigid rubber body working blocks. I will be covering it with brushable encapsuling plastic coating to be able to vacuum form my part.

I needed to make a floral arrangement in a huge antique "pitcher". This foam was easy to slice around the corners to fit into this huge vessel. I used floral "clay" to stick it to the bottom, and it held well. Easy to use.
