This is a piece of trash. DO NOT BUY. Stop working after 6 months of use. No one will to work the unit. If you need to a scooter carrier, buy it locally.

    • Moves a Lot After Grease Comes Out and Switch Not Waterproof
This has allowed me to be more active. However, at first everything was nice and tight and nothing moved when I was driving. Because they used grease, without using grease seals, all of the grease has been pushed out of the bottom of the outside tube and the platform is free to move quite a lot. Either use seals to keep the grease in place or tighten the tolerances and use oil. Also, the switch does not appear to actually be waterproof as when I turn it on when it is raining, it tries to move up. I have to turn the key off before releasing the down switch to prevent it from going up again. This is not an issue when it is not raining, but I live in the Pacific Northwest, where we are known for the rain. ... show more

Very easy to assemble and operate, came with a 20’ long wiring harness that I had professionally installed but I was able to put it together by myself in roughly a 1/2 hour, the only downside was that the instructions to assemble it weren’t real clear, other than that I like the lift, it doesn’t rattle on the back of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. ... show more

It was great, but when we lost the keys, the company could not provide me with the means to get new ones... Yes our fault we lost the keys but I suggest to everyone considering this product, Make sure you get copies of the keys and seperate them.
