These inserts are about to put every other pillow insert you've ever owned to shame. They arrived in an acceptable amount of time. Based *solely* on reviews, I purchased two 20 X 20 sets. Also, based entirely on the reviews for these inserts, I made the executive decision to not purchase inserts a size larger than my decorative pillow cases. I'm very happy with that choice. Straight out of the box and compressed packaging, the difference in quality between every other insert I've owned is remarkable. These cases sport a zippered, machine washable cover that looks to be nicely made. For anyone who has children, pets, or a messy SO, this is an enormous and game-changing feature. I have two of the three, and every time I've had to decide to launder an insert - or throw it out - I'd usually grit my teeth, decide to launder, and still wind up throwing it out. That was frustrating, because who wants to throw out a relatively new insert? With these, I think you could ScotchGuard™ the zippered insert covers (and maybe your decorative cases?), and keep the inserts newish for far longer than typical ones. (You know, the kind that have fiber fill stuffed in between two stitched paper towels and are a lesson in futility when it comes to cleaning). These inserts barely fit into my 20 X 20 cases, which is nice because they're plump. There's no sizing up needed here. They're just the right balance between supportive and pleasingly smooshy, so everyone in the house lounges on them, naps on them, or uses them as a back support between them and the sofa - with precisely zero complaints heard after at least two weeks of heavy use. I haven't had to attempt laundering one of them yet, but if that's a negative experience when it happens, you can be sure that I'll update my review. Thus far, I'm really happy with my purchase and the fact that I resisted the urge to opt for cheap and chose quality instead. Overall, these are likely a far better bargain when you factor in longevity, ease of cleaning, and comfort. A+!!!

Perfect fit for a 22 inch pillow cover. It is soft but firm and feels like a down pillow. It is comfortable and provides support. It works well as a place to lay your head, but also as back support. It is light weight and will easily fill a 22 inch pillow cover.

I’ve never written an Amazon review before but I was so impressed by the quality of these pillows especially at this price that I couldn’t stay quiet. I’ll also note that when I say “at this price” I don’t mean that I’m taking that into consideration. These pillows are worth the $23 each, not just for two, and I would have expected this level of quality if I paid way more than they are listed for. I love a good firm but fluffy pillow that’s supportive yet comforting - and that’s this pillow and more. My biggest pillow pet peeve are those pillows we all know with that thin fabric covering 3 pieces of cotton, that fall apart inside and are all lumpy and flimsy, essentially nothing more than an uneven blanket for your head. These pillows are more of a cushion/pillow hybrid - you can fluff them up like a pillow, but they hold their shape and pillow integrity without being too firm or true to shape as a couch cushion. They arrive very thinly vacuum sealed but fluff up to their size and able to be put into covers in less than 5 minutes. They’re not flimsy at all, but not too firm. They conform to your body but also offer a very nice amount of support and cushion. I bought 18x18 inch pillow covers for the 20x20 inch pillows and they fit very nicely inside, not stretching the fabric but poofing it out quite nicely (my other pillow pet peeve is when the covers are too large for the pillow) but these would have done just as well with 20x20 inch covers given how much they fluff up. They are not true to the picture but in a good way. I was a little worried when I ordered them they would have that curve on the sides as they do in the photo but that is not the case. They are a regular square shaped pillow. My only criticism is not with the pillow but with the amount of packaging. The pillows are in a thinner parchment-y type plastic, but both come in another very thick plastic covering, and then wrapped again in the Amazon plastic packaging. Environmentally I would have preferred the extra thick outer layer of plastic to not be there to reduce the amount of trash and in a recyclable box to ship. Not worth taking a star off given the quality but worth the mention for sustainability. Put it in a regular box please. If I ever need more pillows, I will be ordering again from this brand 100% of the time.

These pillow inserts are top quality! I saw a tip to throw pillows. Buy a pillow one size up from the pillow case. I have 18"X18" pillowcases with 20"X20" pillows. They fit perfectly. You get a throw pillow that is firm and full. I recommend these pillows categorically.

Ignore the bad reviews. Stick to the good ones. These are pretty great. I purchased these because I initially wasted money on awful pillows. When you take them out of the vacuum seal they will look flat but they will fluff up in no time. After about a half hour I put mine in the dryer (no heat) for about 15 minutes with a couple tennis balls... give them some extra fluff. Note... if you are looking for firm pillows, these are not it. These are very soft/comfy pillows with just the right amount of support that fluff right back up after a few taps. I see some people are having issues with the covers fitting.. I didn't have that issue. I bought the 24 x 24 pillows with 24 x 24 pillow cases and they fit perfectly. Maybe it could be as simple as the brand of cover. Anyway... great product. Will definitely purchase in the future.

I got the 20" pillows; I put them in the dryer for 40 minutes on the Air fluff setting – any setting I believe would do. Then using 18" covers, I was skeptical, but once I stuffed them in, I'm pleased with the look and feel; firm, but still very soft. It's a great pillow.
