I ordered this silicone scar tape mainly because I wanted to use something flexible and that wouldn’t irritate my skin. This roll has a good size, so I was able to cut it to cover the area I needed. The tape sticks well and it isn’t too difficult to remove, which is nice because I did not want anything pulling too much on my skin. The material feels soft and breathable, so I can wear it throughout the day without it feeling uncomfortable. Over time, I’ll see how well it works, but so far, the tape stays in place and feels comfortable, which is what I was looking for.

2/25/25 UPDATE: I have added a photo taken today. The scar doesn't appear to have changed. Skin feels smoother. 2/22/25 I will be updating my review of the Silicon Scar Tape for the next few months or longer. This is because every scar is different and results can vary depending on a variety of factors such as the age, type and size of the scar. Some other factors include how healthy the surface of the skin is, if it's a burn scar, a keloid or hypertrophic scar. I've also read that if the tape is used consistently - only being removed to shower and to clean and dry the tape. With that being said, I cut a small strip of the silicone tape and applied it to a burn scar on the top of my hand. I chose this scar because it is a newer scar resulting from burning my hand in November 2024. Being only 3 months old, I am hoping it won't take as long to see an improvement. The silicone tape comes in a wide roll with a plastic backing. It can be cut to size, washed with a mild/oil free soap in warm water, air dried. The silicone tape can be reapplied after cleaning it or can be placed back onto the plastic backing (or something similar) to be used at a later date. The adhesive is gel like and when applied to the skin will stay in place until it is removed. It's like wearing a band-aid, but without the pain when removing. There are instructions with this that informs the user how to wash/dry the tape and has some useful information on it. The instructions also say to test it out for a few hours at a time and to stop using if there are any adverse reactions. I feel I need to add that this can not be used on open wounds or fresh burns. Don't apply if you have staples or stitches, in this case it would be best to speak to your Dr and apply the tape when the Dr says it is safe to do so. Moving on... I applied a small strip the day I received the silicone tape and have worn it consistently for almost 48 hours straight. I have only removed the silicone tape to shower and to clean the tape itself. So far the scar looks the about same, it feels smoother and the edges of the scar do appear to have softened and lightened. The skin around the scar looks lighter where the tape was applied (the skin around the scar). I am not sure if this is going to be permanent or if it's temporary. Time will tell. With each update, I will also add a new photo- I will add a date to each photo, the first will be after 24 hours of wearing the tape. Updates will be made at the beginning of this review. I received this product free of charge in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I was hesitant, but tried these scar sheets. The scar from a minor procedure troubled me. I've been pleased with these silicone sheets. Put them on and leave them. They're comfortable and stick well all day. After several weeks, the scar softened and faded. Though not gone, it's improved. Enjoyed finding these. I've seen an improvement with these basic, non-invasive scar treatments. Definitely try them if you have a bad scar.

The sheets are soft and flexible, which makes them easy to apply. They don’t feel irritating on my skin, and they stay in place pretty well throughout the day. I really like how they are waterproof too—no worries about them getting ruined if I get caught in the rain. So far, my scar looks a little smoother, and I’m hopeful that with continued use, I’ll see even better results. It’s nice that I don’t have to throw these away after one use.

I decided to try these silicone scar sheets for an old scar on my arm, and I’m really pleased with the results so far. They’re super soft and flexible, making them comfortable to wear all day. I love that they’re reusable and waterproof, which makes life easier. After a week of use, my scar looks much smoother and less noticeable. The only downside is that they can peel off sometimes, but overall, I think they’re a great option for scar treatment!
