I am giving this 5 starts even though I'm disappointed, and here's why.
This product is a convenient size of a good amount so you don't feel ripped off only getting 2-3 uses out of it like those tiny tubes of glue, or even the medium ones. It is easy to use, and is perfectly crystal clear. As a product, there is nothing wrong with it and it does what it should. If I had been sealing a crack or edging around something (motor, counter, etc.) I could have just squeezed the beaded line and be done with it, and it would look nice. My disappointment was my skill, and my lack of experience in working with liquid silicone. I purchased this to solve a problem I have had for a long time with various sized glass jars that I love, but have metal lids without seals. I use them for various foods and treats. They are NOT canning jars, so I cannot find all the various sized seals anywhere or with the appropriate thinness so that the lid will still screw on, so I wanted to run a bead of this silicon along the inside edge of the lids, and smoothly flatten it down to look like those that are already manufactured that way. It was rather hard to hold a steady hand while applying enough pressure to the tube to keep a continuous flow because the tube's outer material is stiffer and hard to press. Also, it could not be smoothed down flat nicely like I thought it could. I'm sure there is a skill and trick to doing that but I am unaware of it. In the end, my lids look junky, bumpy, uneven, and like something gross is around the edge of the lid. LOL Well, it at least worked, but not in the way I wanted it too. one larger lid of 4" diameter looked a bit nicer, but still rugged and rough flattened. I won't be doing the rest of the lids this way. I WILL be saving this and using it in other areas of my house needing this kind of sealant. Or maybe I'll do what I saw on a YouTube vid where they squeezed a ball onto non stick paper, placed another sheet over it, and pressed with something even and heavy, like a pane of glass - forming a beautifully perfect round seal about 1/16" thick (could be thicker with less pressure.) Still 5 stars because I'm sure it's me and not them.

Very nice silicone.
Very easy to use. I can tell it's a high quality silicone. I used it to seal a stainless steel chicken waterer. It had a couple leaks at the seams. I let it cute for about 48 hours after letting the waterer dry for a couple days (the chickens have 2 so they had water the whole time)

Good product, and quite useful in the kitchen. I'd buy it again.
I'd buy it again. In fact, I did. I initially acquired a tube with the express purpose of salvaging my sports water bottles. They're great bottles, but the silicon seal in the caps tends to wear out, snap, etc., rendering the bottle useless. I bought this product and filled in the groove where the silicon seal used to sit. A good couple of days to dry thoroughly and I had my water bottles restored, good as new. I've also found it works great on silicon spatulas as well. I've several where there was either never an adhesive between head and stem, or a very poor adhesive. I applied a water-tight seal with the food-safe silicon, adhering the head to the stem, and the spatulas are good for the long haul. If I have one negative, its that, despite taking efforts to preserve the fluidity of the unused silicon, it still dries out in the cap, and I've had to use an ice pick to tear it clear. A tiny annoyance, though I did take a star for not having a better way to keep unused product from drying. I'd still buy another bottle when it is time.

Food Safe, Easy to use, make a good waterproof seal where you need it.
This is a great product for what its used for. The design of the nozzle made it easy to decide how big you want your bead to be. It functioned well, as I could accurately place the product where I needed it. It provided the water resistance I needed, and fixed my issue with my coffee maker. I definitely will buy this again in the future, not only for the seal ability, but also that it is a food safe product.

Saved me from buying a new dishwasher.
Works as describe. My dishwasher was dented when it arrived. Could not get the manufacturer to honor their warranty. I used this and sealed the tub with it. No more leaks.

Worked well
I used this on my BUNN COFFEE MAKER on a leak on top of the hot water tank. According to the manufacturer it was rated as food grade silicone and a heat resistant to 400 degrees. I'm sure that the water tank will be much lower than that (LOL). So far it's been about a month and have no leaks, I covered the original silicone that was put on by the manufacturer and just extended the area and the thickness of my application and so far after allowing 72 hours plus of cure time (it only called for 24 hours) I have had no more leakage. If I do I still have plenty more in the tube. Shelf life after opening is almost 2 years. I dated the tube and placed it in a quart size zip loc freezer bag to keep dirt and bugs from it.

Does not bond to plastic!
I was not pleased with is sealant as it would not stick well to my plastic water filter crack, I cleaned, sanded the areas to be used and cleaned the again, did not work. It may work better as a forma gasket sealant!
