Wow! I never expected to find a 60.00 pair of headphones to sound so good. Noise cancellation needs to be on for the best sound quality, but it’s amazing! My old Bose Quiet Comfort 15’s fell apart on me and I didn’t think I find comparable sound quality at a fraction of the price. I’m listening to some favorite classical music and the bass is deep and rich and the treble is nice and clear. Sounds like a live orchestra sounds from five rows back. Haven’t tried a phone call with them yet, but even without that ability these were a very worthwhile purchase. Apart from sound they’re quite comfortable and I really like the retro look and feel of these; reminds me of some headphones I had in the late 70s. My son got these headphones for a little over a month now and he literally uses them everyday for gaming, watching YouTube videos of just listening to music. The bluetooth is easy to activate and they hold a consistent charge. He usually plugs them in to charge overnight but he easily can go 2-3 days before he has to plug them in to get a full charge. They do a solid job when it comes to the noise cancelling aspect. They don't completely cancel outside noise 100% but they get as close to being perfect at noise cancellation as you can get. Honestly, if you need a pair of durable and reliable over-the-ear headphones, these Silensys E7 ones are the route to take. They come highly recommended. ... show more

    • Loud and punchy, but maybe not the most comfortable or sonically refined.

Since I live in an apartment, I use over ear Bluetooth noise canceling headphones to watch TV or listen to music on a daily basis. I have a Sony 1000-XM2 that I love and an MPow M5 that while wasn’t anywhere near the Sony for noise canceling, had great sound quality, great range and was a steal at $30. The MPow M5 finally started to physically break after 4+ years of years of near daily use, so I purchased these to replace them. I selected theses because they were the among the highest rated over ear noise canceling blue tooth headphones under $50. (I purchased mine on a special / deal from Amazon.) I received my headphones in about a week. The box contained the headphones, and cables. There was no case or bag. The build quality of the headset feels good, but not premium. These set is a mix of shined plastic, metal hinges with some chromed plastics. On off and ANC is controlled with a sliding switch while volume and pairing are controlled with plate that acts like three push-buttons. Sound quality is good. Those 40mm driveRs give the bass some punch, but it comes at the expense of the kids and highs. Neither of which are as defined as either my Sony or even MPow. These are, however, quite loud if you want them to be. That volume doesn’t come at the expense of diminished sound quality. Still, overall, on a scale of 0 to 100, if the Sony’s are a 100, the MPow H5 would be a 95 and I’d give the E7 an 80. However, if you like bass and/ or volume, you might prefer the sonic profile of the E7. Noise canceling is at least reasonably good. Low frequency noise melts away, but, mid-to-high frequencies can still be heard. This time I’d rank the SE8 better than the MPow H5, but nowhere near the Sony’s. I think this is what you should expect as this price point. Range is great. I can go anywhere in my apartment or even well outside with no loss of sound quality. Again, at this price point, I think this is expectedly good. The headphones have a “C” profile that sits a bit off the side of my head. I have a small head, and these even camp tight for me. I am guessing this is intentional to limit sound leakage, but honestly, I couldn’t stand the pressure around my ears for more than 15 minutes. So despite ample padding on the headband and big comfortable protein pads, I dint find these super comfortable. ... show more

The headphone works great for me I used them On the airplane and it was great at blocking the noise. I also wear it everyday and I’m noise sensitive. So I do recommend it and the charge last for days before I have to recharge.

    • Replaced an old pair of Cowin E7 headphones with these - SEE EDIT

EDITED: This pair would not function properly after only perhaps one week of use. The TV would recognize the E7, and attempted to pair (I even heard the confirmation of "pairing" in the headphones), but it never happened. I also stopped being able to get the direct audio connection (via audio cable that was confirmed to be good on another device). I will return them tomorrow. HOWEVER - I am ordering another pair, since I was so happy with the original Cowin E7 headphones, and the overall excellent reviews generally with these - it's worth another try. ====Original review follows==== These finally replaced a pair of Cowin E7 headphones after many, many years (the Cowin product was broken in a cross country move). I was concerned if the new company that apparently bought out the product would produce a product at good as the Cowin headphones, but was not at all disappointed. There is only slight difference in the placement and function of the controls - otherwise they are almost identical, and the sound quality is just as good. The earphone pads are also just as comfortable as the Cowin product. I love these, and highly recommend them. The only thing to be aware of is there's no longer a slide button to turn these on and off - you simply long-press the button for both on and off. If you are replacing the Cowin E7 headphones, you will not be disappointed! ... show more

This headset seems to be very well made for the price. The battery life is reported as lasting 3 hours of continual use. The sound quality is very good and the noise cancellation seems to work very well. It was very simple to pair with my iPhone. It also can be used with non Bluetooth devices as it comes with 1/4” stereo cable as well as a Type C- USB cable for charging. The initial charge was necessary before its use but it did not take to long. My previous headset was very cheap in cost and materials. It only lasted 6 months. This particular headset is worth the $43 pricetag. It is no BEATS in sound quality by any means but at this price it’s absolutely fantastic! ... show more
