  • This stuff works!
Size: Pack of 1
I bought a house with a cement patio around a pool. There were a few sizable cracks in the cement. The quotes to repair or replace cement ran from 500 to 10k. Got a quote to resurface with rubberized garage floor coating and was quoted 30k. The pool man patched the cracks and a year later the repairs were cracking again. I found this and thought id give it a try. It was easy to apply with a caulk gun, filled in the cracks and dried quickly. Looks much better than the cement patch and seems to be holding up very well. ... show more

  • high quality and works great

I filled at least 100 foot of cracks in my drive way after using a crack chaser grinding wheel and SIKA flex sealant I have used other brands but for the little extra cost sikaflex sets up faster and dries quicker than 2 other brands I have used which helps to prevent anyone from smearing and tracking wet sealant across the cement. ... show more

  • self levelling??
Size: Pack of 1
OK, it's sika and it's a great sealant. I've used this to seal some cracks along my concrete patio. When i see self-levelling i am typically expecting it to be a little viscous, but able to really seep down into the cracks while also providing a smooth, level finish. I understand if you use too much, it's going to pool, but this is just really too viscous to provide a good level finish. Maybe it's user error, but i feel i did the best i could with the product. Maybe i have the wrong product for this application. Regardless, i feel it needs to be a little less viscous than it is. ... show more

  • Excellent sealing, highly flexible
Size: Pack of 1
The gray water tank on my class A RV was smelling terrible. It was getting inside the living area and making everything smell terrible. I couldn’t find a leak anywhere. When I looked at all the connections and the tank, the only thing I could find was how this pipe went into the top of the tank, there was no rubber connection with clamps. That seemed very suspicious to me. It just appeared to be stuck into the top of the tank, and sealed in there with what appeared to be plumbers putty. I called the manufacturer and asked if this was how it was supposed to be. I would purchase a rubber connection if it was available. They said they are still doing it this way and if they have a problem to use a Sikaflex gray compound. I purchased a tube, and although the pipe comes out of the top of the tank I used the self leveling compound. I started applying it above the suspect area and let it flow down over the existing stuff and let it flow onto the top of the tank. It actually made a very nice looking cone shaped seal. By that evening, I could tell the smell was getting better. It’s been about two weeks and you can’t detect it in the RV anymore. I have aired out the basement in the RV and that seems fine now too. I would highly recommend this flexible sealant. It’s amazing how flexible it is and how well it sealed this connection. We suffered with the smell for years until I had checked every fitting and the tank. The only thing left was this connection, but it appeared fine. The crack filling abilities of this self leveling system must have flowed into the source of the problem! Best ten bucks I’ve spent in a long time! ... show more

  • Truly self leveling....easy to use......matches concrete well.... Truly self leveling....easy to use......matches concrete well....
Size: Pack of 1
This stuff is amazing and absolutely delivers on it's promises! I originally completed this project using the horrible Dap version of concrete filler/seal which was horrible to work with and NEVER set (even after 2 dry 70 degree days) and essentially washed away on 1st rain. I completed the project again with this Sikaflex and it worked perfectly. It completely self levels and fills in the void. The best advice I have is DON'T touch it. Just lay your bead and let it work it's magic. It completely levels and leaves a smooth finish. Then come back and re-fill any voids that may appear. I had used sand then backer rod so I only had one corner spot that needed a little extra fill. I also sprinkle a little of the sand on the still wet seal to add to the concrete look though this Sikaflex already has a nice texture. This stuff has a great look on it's own and I'm so impressed with how well it works and looks. It's now cured and firm, yet pliable to the touch. I should have used this stuff in the first place. ... show more

  • Gets Expensive For Large Cracks But Does A Nice Job Gets Expensive For Large Cracks But Does A Nice Job
Size: Pack of 1
I have a gap about 1" wide between my garage apron and the concrete slab adjacent to it. It looked like it had been filled with something black, maybe tar and it broke up when I ran compressed air over it to clean it up. Certainly not flexible material at this point and already had cracks in it. I had read about this type of "self-leveling" product (which has been used elsewhere in my neighborhood) and decided to give it a try. Although I had some backing, I wasn't calculate how much I would need, so I started with 3 tubes. That got me about 2/3 of the way across the apron - a little better than expected. Not bad for a 1" gap. (Also the slab is tipped 1/2" - 3/4" relative to the apron across it's width so that the edges cross in the middle; water will have to follow the gap ~ halfway to flow onto the slab.) I went to order a couple tubes to finish and in a couple of weeks the price had doubled from $10/tube. Turns out the local Home Depot carries it for around $10. I hadn't worked with this self-leveling product before and it really does flow even more easily than I expected which means your prep has to be pretty good. Although it says it can be "tooled", I had minimal success with that (after 20-30 minutes) - maybe if you work it immediately. I found I had to lay a little less than I thought was needed and go back over it a few minutes to get the level I wanted. There is a little "knack" to using it well, but I got it after using 3 tubes, One thing I did find which is illustarted in the image, when I went back a day later to continue filling the gap, the new material didn't quite blend seamlessly with the day-old material. (See red arrow, and dashed line which traces part of the "seam".) The image exagerates it a bit, but as a perfectionist I notice it. The difefference in height is like 1/16" ... not much frankly. Overall it looks real good to me given the alignment issues. Been in place a few weeks. Interested to see how it fairs over the Western Pennsylvania Winter. ... show more

  • SEALANT ADEQUATE: SIKA CRACK FLEX DECENT PERFORMANCE 🏗️⚖️ [⭐⭐⭐☠️☠️]
Size: Pack of 1
Jay Fray delivering the balanced truth about this SIKA Sikaflex Crack Flex sealant in gray that provides decent sealing capability with some performance limitations! Purchased this SIKA Sikaflex Crack Flex gray sealant for concrete crack repair and sealing applications on construction projects and foundation maintenance work. The sealant performs decently for basic crack sealing though doesn’t achieve outstanding results. Adhesion quality works adequately with sealant bonding to concrete surfaces reasonably well for standard crack filling applications. The bond proves sufficient for typical residential repair work without exceptional strength. Flexibility appears acceptable with cured sealant maintaining some elasticity allowing minor concrete movement without immediate cracking. The flex capability works for normal expansion and contraction cycles. Application consistency proves workable with sealant that dispenses from tube without excessive difficulty and smooths reasonably well during tooling. The material handles adequately during application process. Curing time meets reasonable expectations with sealant setting within advertised timeframes and achieving usable hardness for protecting sealed cracks from weather exposure. Where this sealant loses stars includes performance that’s merely decent rather than exceptional, coverage rates that require more product than ideal, or durability questions for extreme weather exposure. For basic concrete crack sealing requiring functional repair without premium performance demands, this provides adequate results at reasonable Sika brand pricing. The gray color matches concrete reasonably well making repairs blend acceptably with existing surfaces for typical maintenance applications. For standard crack sealing on residential foundations or concrete surfaces, this delivers workable results when perfect repairs aren’t critical. Jay Fray verdict: Decent crack flex sealant providing adequate concrete sealing for basic repair applications. Functional Sika product that works without delivering exceptional performance! ... show more
