This was delivered yesterday and I tipped the delivery crew to deliver it around to the back of my house so that it would be easier to get the parts into my home gym, I’m very thankful that I did this because the parts are extremely heavy and not easy to carry alone. The box that it comes in is massive and it’s also on a pallet, now I need to figure out how to get rid of these items. The contents are very well packaged and protected. The instructions are not very good and I could not find a video online anywhere on how to put it together, I’m pretty handy so I eventually figured it out…no thanks to the instructions though. I started to assemble this alone and got to the point where the sled needed to be put onto the machine and this is where a 2nd or 3rd person is needed. The sled is extremely heavy, so I had a neighbor assist me in getting it into the machine (after I figured out that the top caps had to come off in order to do so (again very poor instructions) while my wife lined up the glide bars…this was by far the hardest part of the entire installation because it’s simply impossible for one person to do this alone and it’s probably not advisable for just 2 people to try either. After installation was finished I tried it out and it glides nicely but I’ve already purchased some silicone spray so that it’s glides even more easily. Overall, it’s heavy duty, seems like I’ll be able to load it up with a lot of weight BUT the directions are terrible and installation of the sled was brutal. A socket set is recommended over the wrenches the manufacturer provides and a big tip, which is not in the instructions, is to put both weight horns onto the sled and use these to assist you with lifting it while installing it onto the machine, one person on each side of the machine holding onto them and lowering the sled down.

Don’t purchase this thinking you’re getting a leg press like the one from your local gym. It’s smaller. Works fine but saying it’s a commercial item is kind of deceptive. I was expecting one that was much larger. I assembled mine alone but having another person or two would’ve been ideal. It’s heavy and awkward to put together but doable if you are strong enough physically and tall enough to get the sled in place. I like it. It’s just not the size I expected.
